You need to put his ID in the Free Agents roster in the Teams tab.

thanks leftos....i was reading through this thread and figured i have to do that...and i saw the question posted above regarding the Teams tab being blank....i wanna follow the instructions uve given him but im just lost...my players tab is blank too....i just cant understand the concept of the OFFSETS..

Actually, Roster Editor is open-source software. Nothing hidden or fishy about it.

As you can see, the program contacts http://users.tellas.gr, and specifically tries to grab http://users.tellas.gr/~aslan16/re13version.txt in order to determine whether there's a new version available.

thanks for the helpful info, I said it was unlikely because firstly legit programs that do these type of things usually have an option tab where you can check and uncheck the auto update feature. I didn't find one in roster editor.

And the other thing is, with these type of mod files I'm not an expert, but I've downloaded my fair share of them over the years, and I don't think I've ever come across one that auto updates. Typically if you want the new version of it, you just have to go to the home page or home thread of the file and download the latest one.

Anyway that was my only concern, thanks for clarifying, real great tool... my favorite feature is being able to swap players from different rosters.

Adon, FYI, I added a Check for Updates setting in the Options tab in one of the latest releases. Had forgotten about it.

And I get stuck at the part where I go into the team tab, when I click the Team tab it's completely empty... the Player tab is normal with all the players there, but nothing in the Team or Jerseys tab

how to edit the heights and weights of the players using this Roster Editor? :/

find your player, find the height and weight columns, edit them.

Hi Leftos. I think there might be an issue pasting into the RFT column. I've been pasting by name for other shooting ratings, and it seems to work just fine, but nothing happens when pasting that rating.

you can't, and this isn't a roster editor question

there are a few retro uniforms in the 70s teams that do not have that logo. Take their iff file and use it as a base for your uniforms.

So you guys got the roster offset numbers posted for official rosters in that thread...I'm trying to make changes to two custom rosters from this website, the MJ last season 96-97 and Medveden 0.8 .... The roster offset numbers for these aren't listed in your thread.... I spent an hour or so yesterday watching all of JaoSmings tutorials for 2K13 and finally figured out you could import custom 2K12 courts and have them work in 2K13.. So now I'm just trying to get a handle on this roster stuff a bit better

FYI: if your trying to add anything to my 97/98 MJ Last Season you can't all Team slots and Players slot were used to make this MOD. So if you do anything changes like this you will cause problems with the roster, you have been WARNED!
