Best team to use in Association mode?

Postby TheProtatoPie on Sat Jan 19, 2013 10:25 pm

I don't really care about stats, or ratings.

I care about what happens.

I mean, if the team has a star or a good role player (with great potential) that will stay for a few years, good rebounding tendency, and all that nonsense.
It's about taking the team together, to form a better team.

Anyways, what's the greatest team you've ever played on Association, regarding all the facts?
Because I might use that team for my next video on YouTube.

I don't care if you say Miami Heat or the Charlotte Bobcats. I wanna play what you've played, and you've had fun on.

So pretty much, yeah. What team did you like most?

And yes. You can recommend for over one teams. Hell, even recommend thirty. Just give a few reasons why for some of the teams.

Pistons. Develop Monroe and Drummond to have the twin towers in front, decide which of the backcourt (if any) stay, have a shitload of money to spend the first off-season to get any free agent you want.

Clippers. Build Griffins midrange and defense, Deandre Jordans post play and defense, and Eric Bledsoe's shooting and passing. You can win a championship before it gets too expensive to keep all your star players and have a young trio of the three I mentioned continue to compete while surrounding them with solid role players which should help you stay competitive.

I'll try using it in Association.
I've played the Clippers for a few minutes in exhibition mode, and it went pretty well.

But I've got to say, Blake just runs to the rim, then dunks it. With the same 'ol one-handed dunk.
Sometimes it's not even a tomahawk throwdown.

Don't get me wrong. I'm a Blake Griffin fan, I always was.
But the sliders for Blake is pretty much, dunking every time. Sometimes even every two minutes in HOF mode.

But I'll try using it. Thanks for the recommendation bro.

Portland has Aldridge as a legit down low scorer and has an automatic mid range jumper

Lillard and Batum are two young developing stars.

Hickson is a really good rebounder and dunker

You have solid down low scoring, Outside shooting and really good athletes to enjoy the gameplay.

I'd say take the Cavs, if you have the nerves to do so.

You need to be patient at first, probably needing a tanking season. Brilliant potential in Kyrie (already an all star player) and Waiters, decent young players in Zeller and T.Thompson... With the tanking season, you can get a top 5 pick. I went a bit further and traded the high energy, rebounding hustler, Varejao for an expiring contract to get even more cap space (but you have a lot already with the Cavs) and pretty much crush the free agents market in season 2013/2014. If you are able to wait for a season and aren't bothered with immediate results, you can basically make a dream team that can last and improve for a long long time.

Knicks are a good option. They are stacked with three point shooting and it's hard not to score 30 ppg with Melo. Decent point guard in Raymond Felton and you can develop Iman Shumpert to be an elite shooting guard.

No. No way to play with Knicks. Their overall is m/y 35 years lol. I think the best its with OKC. The team is awesome , u have Durant, West, Ibaka - all young players. With them u can develop players like Lamb, PJ III, Maynor + u have draft pick from Toronto. So if u play smart u can build a dynasty easy and funny with some finals too :)))
