good PC specs for 2K(12 or 13) (Dell Optiplex 790 SFF).

Hey NLSC,

Im new to this site and new to the PC gaming scene, i have become a fan of 2K on PC watching vids by Jaosming. I have made my own edits to 2K13 on 360 back on the OperationSports website (but nothing like the things that have been done on PC) i have came to the conclusion that in order get the game to reach its full potential PC is the way to go. Im not really clear on PC specs so i just wanted to ask for the opinion and feedback of you PC wizards.

I have a Dell Optiplex 790 SFF(Small Form Factor), it has intel core i3-2120 and windows 7 ultimate 4.0GB(RAM) 250GB(HDD), hoping i have the specs to run games at least 2K (12or13) if someone can leave me some input or feedback about how my PC will hold up running 2K i would really be grateful.

Graphics card is quite weak in that. I'm going to lean towards "maybe" on the lowest settings.

I do plan on getting a better graphics card, so with a upgraded graphics card i do have a good PC to run 2k well?

With a better video card, you should be fine.

I dunno if this will help you, but I have an Optiplex 745 w/ 5 GB RAM, and a Radeon HD 6570 and I'm able to run 2K13 at high settings and it looks and plays great. My card is a very low end card in terms of power, but I'm pleased with 2K13 on my system.

Yes this helps alot, glad i came across someone w/ basically the same system i feel good about my PC running 2K now (after i get the video card of course) thank you my friend for you feedback.
