How To Change My Player Portrait?

guys can you help me how to change my player portrait? i already tried assigning FREE AGENTS' portrait( i replaced chris andersen- potrait number 0984 with my portrait) but after saving it ang opening it again, the default portrait(my CF) keeps coming back.. can you please help me?? thanks in advance..

try to import your desired portrait to portrait.iff with portrait.cdf, its a same case with dornas, cdf files keep changing the iff files back to original.

i already tried that.. but the original my player portrait(which is my cyberface) keeps coming back..

You need to use Roster Editor to change the PorttraitID of your MyPlayer to 984 unless I have misunderstood you.

i already did that too sir.. but the portrait keeps coming back to normal.. i dont know why..

OK Just on a wild hunch, try deleting everything in the "Application Data\2K Sports\NBA 2K13\Cache" folder. DO NOT delete the folder "Cache" itself though I don't think it would be a problem.
Or the "AppData\Roaming\2K Sports\NBA 2K13\Cache" depending on your OS.

have you tried this sir? im afraid this is too risky.. will it not affect my game?

I have cleared my cache more than once yes. It does not affect the game except to make the game use current data. I am unsure if 2K does get some problems of this kind (I have never seen any) but I know of other games that clearing the cache forces the game to use current content instead of the cached content. I have never tried to delete the "Cache" folder itself but I would guess the game will create it again but to be on the safe side don't try it.

sir i have cleared my cache and assigned the portrait on my MC BUT STILL IT KEEPS COMING BACK.. i really dont know whats the problem..

I would guess you are out of luck then. I know last years game there were problems changing your MP portrait, they just would not stick most of the time. It must be some hidden block in the save file that nobody has figured out. At least I am out of ideas, Sorry.
