exrxixxx, nice work dude!
What I wanted to ask is if it is possible to delete that "out of bounds" or "foul" overlay which always appears.
I already tested the NBA 2k12 scorebug and when I deleted the newbreakshell.iff and the newbreakboard.iff files and replaced the .dds in the Ariels newscorebug.iff (the actuall scoreboard in the game) you could just only see the scoreboard without any other overlays which crossed with the scoreboard except those small "out of bounds", "foul"-overlays which appear over the default NBA 2k scoreboard.
If you could delete it then just the TNT or ESPN scoreboard would be visible without other overlays which in my oppinion is quite good and gives you a better feeling the this crossing overlays or overlays which don't fit with the TNT/ESPN scoreboards.

Actually I did not understood in full what you are doing, but anyway the answer is yes, it should be easy to remove this black "foul/out of bounds" part. This part is not related with the text. So you can simply move this part out of the screen or disable it and only the text will be visible.
Look at the picture at post No.2 here. Foul - and no black box over it. Did you mean that?
And I don't think newbreakshell.iff is needed for that, I mean do not touch it

I still can't make with NBA2k13 file. I wonder how the 3d structure of the pictures was drawn in 2k12 files? Do you need to do it manualy or some program creates 3d coordiantes? How it was with your TNT scoreboard?

my question was: you are able to rebuilding the 2k12 scoreboard for the new TNT 2013 graphics? I have already the texture but need to change something like characters, positions teams.

exrxixxx, mhm I think that I could have describe it better...
during the ingame various stats overlays appear like the team has 0/5 fieldgoals and other various stats and so on...those overlays often cross those scoreboard especially the ESPN scoreboard so when those overlays appear that they cover the scoreboard...those overlays are in the newbreakshell.iff and the newbreakboard.iff files which can be deleted so those overlays disappear!
however yes, you found my actually question
how can I remove this small overlay "out of bounds/foul" from the game?
It's quite disturbing for me so could you make a version of the ESPN scoreboard without this small overlay or describe the steps how could I remove it?!
thanks in advance!

Cool man, how about a collaboration with me for your next release

The problem is we do not have team colours this year. Either we need to find how to enable them or workaround this problem by repainting the logo000.iff, logo001.iff, etc., files to team colours, then by increasing it size in the scoreboard (already successed in that, but the costs are the logos do not appear anymore before the match and on the team stats window, etc.)
Similar with 2k12 file. Team Colours are disabled and logo absent too
Actually still not ready to make complete 2k13 overlay. Still working on that.

Delete newscorebug.iff at C:/Users/Your User name/AppData/Roaming/2K sports/NBA 2K13/Online Date/
...by doing this only the file with the same name will work from C:/Program Files/2k sports/NBA2K13.
C:/Users/Your User name/AppData/Roaming/2K sports/NBA 2K13/Online Date/
has priority over C:/Program Files/....
...or overwrite the first priority file...
... or use KeepMyModTool or whatever. I really did not tested all the methods, I use the first one and not connecting online because I have nothing to do online (i am not interested in default rosters, official updates, etc.)

Hello, I just register to the forum to suggest a little trick. If you want to use this fantastic scoreboards also mantaing the online data folder, simply you have to deny the overwriting in the online folder, so substitude the newscorebug.iff in the folder and then on properties-->security (right click mouse on file) tick the box to deny 'control' of the file (move-write etc) by the pc's user called 'system' (you need to access as Administrator obviously)
Hope my english is sufficient..

Hi, welcome to the forum san, and thanks for the tip!

Hello to everybody, to be more accurate:
1) put the newscoreboard.iff file propierties as 'read only'
2) under security file propierties deny the control from user: 'system'
NB: in this way, i think, it would be possible to update roster and other 2k software online, but *THE ONLINE PLAYING* mode will be not accesible
