2K11 to 2K13 Conversions

Yep. I've always extracted the face, green, white and arm textures.
Only way to do it for 100% accuracy. Plus when you save the previous versions arm textures they have to be DXT1 otherwise you get the black dots on the arm thing happening in 2K13.

Right, I have pretty much got in the habit of re-saving all arms and faces before importing again, too many times after I checked the player he either was all screwed up or at the very least had the black spots. The faces from 11 to 13 can be weird if they are not re-saved, strange discolorations. I know of a few I need to go back and fix at some point.

Yeah same. I've had some problems with my draft class as well, which I have to go back and fix..even dealing with swapping textures onto different headshapes seems to create the spotty arm problem even when it's just 2K13 files. Modding is annoying sometimes lol

Yep, I really think a big part of the problems we have is using the outdated tools this year but we use what we have and keep our fingers crossed

JaoSming Well it seems like converting from 2K11 to 13 is a huge pain in the ass. Hair is very difficult and sometimes near impossible and the 4 mouth sections do not seem to work on 20 or so attempts. But I think I got at least one done so far. I will check him and post later tonight. Name of "Promise" showing my age here but who the hell is Promise?

Now that you've done more conversions, do you think it would still be a pain to do the celebs? Or would it be easier now?

Just for your information Duke, if cant find some1 or u find in 2k11 you can use all these guy from Juan 2k12 thread-i got his permission, it will be easier for u to convert. Please dont get me wrong, i dont want u to search cfs for me, just inform u.

Well I think most of them can be done now. Here is what I came up with, let me know if I am missing someone. Note - i-ELAll I think is the one I am thinking about, I really have my doubts about converting him, well without a whole lot more practice with Blender. He has real long hair and will take a lot of work to convert any other as there isn't anything to base it on that I have run across. (Maybe Kurt Rambis) Oh and most of these are just guesses, I have never heard of 75% of them, shows my age a bit

Unless I am mistaken that is not an official number which means it was made by someone else and I won't convert without their permission, sorry. If you can track down whoever made it and get permission I will try to do it. Sometimes (rarely) they just can't be converted for whatever reason usually hair.

Warstomp32 I have had 0% success converting 2K10 faces. I am not sure just why yet, it could be the headbands but the vertex are the same, I will keep trying but I am losing hope.
