Installing Missing Players

Sorry if this has been answered before. I tried a search and could not find an answer.

I downloaded the missing player files for 2K13 and moved the files into my main 2k folder in the c: drive. I could not find the missing players either as free agents or on their respective teams. I moved the files to the %appdata% saves folder and nothing happened. I must be doing something wrong.

Can somebody guide this noob?

UPDATE: I guess these files are only meant to be used to update a roster file using the roster editor? I have downloaded the Unbeatable Base Roster V1 and loaded it with Leftos' roster editor. However, I don't know what to do with the missing player files from here. Sorry, I'm a noob.
