Well, that's more the fault of the Cult of the Imperial Presidency than anything.
If there were 10-20 viable candidates, hell, even if there were half that, you'd mostly just have electoral college clusterfucks and the House would pick the President.
I don't really see the downside.

Seems he's deleted his 'Romney won the popular vote' tweets now that Obama is ahead. Silly Trump.

I've usually seen people say that stuff after the end of each election, if they truly hate Obama getting elected then I guess it would be best if they moved...

Those people are crazy anyway. Why would they even move to barren wasteland of crushed hopes and dreams.

and where they've already implemented the social services that pissed people off at Obama for

I'm a Flatlander, my opinion doesn't matter.

Great night for Nate Silver. Picked all the states correctly, and the one state still too close to call, he had 50/50 odds for each candidate. Starting to look like Obama might take Florida and win 332-206. Didn't expect that kind of margin.
Florida hasn't been called yet but there appears to be 100% in with Obama winning by .5%, so I'm not certain why it's not official yet. Either way, a fun night being an electoral college nerd and rooting for Obama. Same-sex marriage and marijuana legalization passed in my state, which is nice, but so did charter schools.

Good thing your President and Senator won't do anything to crush it with the full weight of the federal government.
but so did charter schools.

Lamrock attacking the poor yet again.

Other than their barbaric health care system and middle ages era speech protections, Canada has a smaller Leviathan in many ways.

*cough* *cough* *cough* What was that? I honestly wouldn't be surprised if Obama flip-flopped on this issue in his second term.
but so did charter schools.

Yeah, all poor kids get to go to charter schools.

Obama lost 10 million voters over 2008, Romney lost about 2 million from McCain.

Him and what army?
Yeah, all poor kids get to go to charter schools.
Do you know what charter schools are?
In any case, all the more reason for vouchers!

Really when it boils down to it, I'll probably vote third party in the future, but for symbolic reasons, I chose Obama because I'd rather nothing get done than bad things.

Most common sentiment I read/heard from (non-racist) people who would rather have Romney than Obama:
'I'd rather have the country run like a business than a prison.'
That from playing TF2.

Essentially my reasoning too.

But that reasoning makes absolutely zero sense. It literally has no relation to reality.
