Other video games, TV shows, movies, general chit-chat...this is an all-purpose off-topic board where you can talk about anything that doesn't have its own dedicated section.

This is kinda inspired by JaoSming's topic here in his quest to dunk, i'm going to take it one step further, and make it a quest to become a better baller period. Which means everything, ball handling, shooting, vertical, quickness, the lot. I can already shoot well, so that won't be the main focus of my program, but ball handling and quickness is the main things i'll be working on.
Currently I'm 6' 4" and weigh 77kg. Which I know I'm underweight.
So what I'm going to do in this topic is post a daily journal, and a couple of videos each week showing progress.
Feel free to leave comments of encouragement, inspiration etc if you want.

You definitely have a reasonable height to be successful, I'm 6ft and it's always frustrating to play in local basketball scrims because my height. I wish you luck though, I think you can accomplish this task if you stay focused (on the level of DRose).

Best of luck with it, it'll be fun to have a couple of these threads going.

Make sure you remember every stat you accumulate in every game you play and post it here. Including 2 on 2 or 3 on 3 games you might play.

Week 1 Day 1:
I waited until 6pm to start my workout, as I had exam revision most of the day today. Spent 15 minutes on ball handing, and then had a shooting workout with a friend rebounding for me. Shooting wise, today was repetition day for me.
The shooting section consisted of:
3 Shots from 10, 15 and 20ft across 5 angles
10 FT's
3 Shots from 10, 15 and 20ft across 5 angles
10 FT's
3 1 Dribble Pullups Both left and right across 5 angles
10 FT's
3 1 Dribble Pullups Both left and right across 5 angles
10 FT's
2 'Turn Shots' Both directions from 15 and 20ft across 5 angles (Which one foot is pointed at the rim, the rest of my body is on a 90 degree angle sideways to the rim, catch the ball while turning into the shot, and shoot.)
10 FT's
2 'Turn Shots' Both directions from 15 and 20ft across 5 angles
10 FT's
I then had a scrimmage in a 5 on 5 game after the shooting workout ended, in 25 minutes of scrimmaging I ended up with 26 points (4/6 from 3), 9 rebounds and 8 assists. And yes, I was counting the stats.
All up I was in the gym for an hour and a half, and got up 290 quality shots and fitted in ball handling and a scrimmage. You don't need 500 or 1000 shots a day to improve. Each day I will post what I've done, feel free to use my program as a base.

This is boring without videos.
