Can we design Forum logos?

Yeah, or maybe like the forum logos at .org, where they change for every time you load a page.

I guess that's OK, so long as you're willing to spend the time making up new logos.

But if I was to use additional logos as replacements or in rotation, it'd be best if they were 293 wide by 97 high. (Y)

i would happily do some.does it have to be the same font style Andrew(if yes could you tell me the font's name) ? i can do like 10-15 a day.

In my humble opinion, I think this image should be used, the only thing that should change is the player with the red jersey.

The Forum name stays, only the players in the Logo change..

I think the writing is just fine...the player should only rotate. :wink:

Yeah, but we need the template. Homer wanted the font that was originally used so he could make a template. It's just a waste of time to try and erase the guy behind the writing. :wink:

why do you want the NLSC to be just like nbalive.org? We do things like this over at nbalive.org to make it different/better? than the NLSC.. It really is sad if the NLSC is just going to copy everything nbalive.org does.. whats the point? How about you all work together and come up with some original ideas like we do at .org.. it would be better for the community..

I just don't see the benifit in just having two sites doing exactly the same thing.. which is why we have tried to differentiate nbalive.org from the NLSC... not because of any "rivalry" or anything as some believe but because I don't want nbalive.org and NLSC to be the same. I believe that the variety is good. Everyone knows I don't agree with the way some things are done around here.. but that is why I have nbalive.org cause it can be the way I/Ben/Dmit/Tony/Repole think a site should be..

If the NLSC is just going to take all our ideas and copy them why are we bothering to be different? Why does nbalive.org need to exist then? Are we just wasting our time?

Umm..david and everyone else, stop right there. We've been around this mountain enough. If one were to look at the top of this thread..it can be seen that this idea wasn't suggested by an NLSC staff member. Let us get back into the topic....which is logo design and leave it at that. I'll delete any subsiquent rule breaking and off topic posts.

The intention was never to copy or steal from nbalive.org. Ruffryder made a suggestion, it sounded like a good idea for community involvement. I didn't commission it, I just said it sounded like a good idea. But if you like, I won't go ahead with it.

I apologise to the individuals who showed some interest in designing new logos.
