OK, Also I just looked at my CMG and got to thinking, you should only need ID 1-383 from Slimm's new roster to put into your MC roster, the rest of the players never come into play anyway. Also you should not need to increase PINum by 1 as you should not have to mess with the team anyway.

I ran into an issue with the Jerseys section of your Roster Editor. I'm sure it is an easy fix but the Jersey IDs stop at ID 173 (Pacers Alternate) so there are about 10 teams that I cannot edit the team gear colors for.

ClLUTClH2K wrote:Ran into my first problem. Leftos' Roster Editor stops at ID 173 (Pacers Alternate) and I have no way of editing the rest of the teams' colors as of right now. Hopefully he can fix this.

I have the following team colors (20 out of 30 teams) completed:

76ers
Bobcats
Bucks
Bulls
Cavaliers
Celtics
Clippers
Grizzlies
Hawks
Heat
Hornets
Jazz
Kings
Knicks
Lakers
Magic
Mavericks
Nets
Nuggets
Pacers

Hey Leftos, thanks heaps for your tool. It's been a huge help to everybody already.

I'm having one problem though, when unhiding players I go into the game and load up the roster file and assign the player to a new team but it still leaves a copy of the player in the original team I assigned them to (effectively, duplicating the player). I've followed the intructions I believe, so I can't work out what I'm doing wrong here.. any help would be great, thanks :)

i have one simple and specific question about this mod : i would like to start an association, but when new players will pop up in the real-life league (newly signed d-leaguers, undrafted players etc.) and they are not in my association's FA pool already, is it possible for me to add them trough this roster editor so they can appear in the FA pool?

why the ID number of the players are located on the wrong team...on the teams tab...it seems to me that there is a different of about 5-10 columns...for example heat team..ID 115-127...WHEREIN ID 115-121 is on the hawks tab...im using the 2k official roster by the way..

ClLUTClH2K, change LastJerseyID in Options to 500, and the tool will detect as many jerseys as it can.

Kieran, assign them to the FA pool instead of a team in the editor, then assign them to a team in-game. If they're still duplicated, just remove them from the original team/FA pool via the Teams tab.

manustyle90, adding them to the FA pool in the Teams tab should work, if they already exist in the roster when you begin your mode but are hidden.

benson_pode, don't even understand your question. Provide a screenshot please.

What I did last year once I'd started an association was edit the name and attributes of one of the existing generic D-Leaguers and assign him a cyberface. May be an easier way than unhiding them, and also is a good method if the player wasn't already in the roster.

Whoops! I haven't started an Association yet so I didn't realise. I guess that's why they didn't appear in the Teams tab in the editor

Mattan I think Leftos states somewhere in the thread it is unchangeable, at least for now.

Slightly updated "Names.txt"
Added CFNames.txt with some added missing players from different threads.
NOTE: The missing players will not show up in a roster unless the CF is included in the roster.

If you don't know how to use change to CFNames, txt, watch this video, its full of useful information. Thanks Leftos

You have to add a hidden player's ID into Free Agency or a Team in the teams tab and the isHidden thing will disappear.

So I tried to edit the regular players' names in game after changing the PIType in the roster editor, and I confirm that there are glitches.

e.g. changing Andrew Bynum's name to Takenori Akagi will change Nick Young and Thaddeus Young's name to Nick I. and Thaddeus I.

Then when I changed back their names to Nick/Thaddeus Young, Takenori will turn to Takernoryoung.
Your Tip Here :D

Names.txt changes = none
CFNames.txt changes = Fully compatible with Slimm44's Opening Day2 roster. ie: Names now show for the added players

Mattan, as I said here and as it is explained in the video, AssignedTo, IsFA and IsHidden are not editable directly. They're just there to help show you if that player is assigned to a team, to the FA pool, or to none of those in the Teams tab. They're not actual roster parameters that I've decoded, they just show you what you would know by looking in the Teams tab, but without switching to it and looking through the whole table.

sir the Jersey Neck works fine, but i don't know what is the problem on the Nets? because when i change it to BaggyV then save it in game it show as BaggyParab, when i change it to BaggyParab on game it is BaggyV but on other team it's ok.

and i also see try the Change Jersey Name and when i change the Knicks St.Patricks to Alternate it doesnt show anything on the game, it just erase the St.Patricks.

another, i saw there's an Nuggets Alternate but it doesn't show up on the game.

btw thank you for this, it's a big help!

The information for the NeckType enumerable comes from REDitor's 2K12 tutorial, so it could be the other way around in 2K13. If these come up consistently wrong, I'll switch them.

The jersey name parameter was given to me as a set of values. If changing it doesn't work, then I guess more research is needed.

Don't know why any jersey in the table wouldn't show up. Maybe there's a parameter that we haven't decoded yet.

like i said it's only on the Nets Jersey BaggyV and BaggyParab is reverse.

i Agree for the Jersey name,

i saw that on 2k12Reditor, when you want it to show on game you just need to turn it to 1, so i think research is also needed on that. hope someone will find.

that is a good method, but as leftos said there is no d-league...could i do it with an existing FA player? i mean for example to replace an entire FA player's table with a new player table (simple copy and paste, as i used to do with the reditor) so that that old player would become a new one.
I just need to keep the team rosters up to date with new players without having to restart the association everytime
