2004 Draft Coverage-
Protland Trail Blazers As The First Pick In The 2004 NBA Draft Sellect Emeka Okafor From Unniversity Of Connecticutt.
Jim Defalco On The Blazers #1 Pick- This may have been a mistake by the Blazers picking Okafor. A Great player from UConn, and is probally very capable at the NBA level because of his size and skill. The Blazers need Okafor, but they needed a Big man, Slam may have been that, we will see in the regular season
Philidelphia 76ers As The Second Pick In The 2004 NBA Draft Via Trade From The Memphis Grizzlies Sellect Slam Harder From The NLSC.
Jim Defalco On The 76ers #2 Pick- What an excellent decision by the Sixers I knew the Sixers were smart for making that trade mid-seson that gave them this pick. Taking advantage of the Blazers mistake by not taking Slam. Slam is a dominating 6' 11" Center from Sweden, which may give the Sixers the missing piece to theyre puzzle. His flaws tho, he cant hit threes, not that fast, and can't hit Free Throws, can you say Shaq?
The Chicago Bulls As The Third Pick In The 2004 NBA Draft Sellect Dwight Howard.
Jim Defalco On The Bulls #3 Pick- Dwight Howard is a solid player, who I personally thought would be picked number one, or two. He instead was picked third by the Bulls, Howard was hut some time last season this might be a problem for an all ready crumbling Bulls team. Hopefully he wil overcome his injuries, and pull together the remains of this team.
The Atlanta Hawks As The Fourth Pick In The 2004 NBA Draft Pick EXPLOSIVO! From The NLSC.
Jim Defalco On The Hawks #4 Pick- The second person picked from the NLSC this year, we havent really seen him a lot this year, he requests that no TV cameras be at anny of his pratices, this may be a problem for the Hawks, the pressure of actually playing an a big game may be too much for him, we do not know time will see.
