The Raptors management are idiots, let's say goodbye to Vince Carter, this is such s stupid pick, no defense, not atheletic, short wingspan, and he's already 24 and doesn't have much toom for improvement.

lol after that Anderson (who is actually a really good player, one of the few foreigners I've seen) guy was drafted, on ESPN's Draft Cast they had a Q & A, this is how the first question went...

Aussie:
Hola Anderson Varajao - Welcome to the Magic! It is very exciting to have a Spanish player of such quality join the team. How do you feel about playing in the NBA, and are you happy to be going somewhere where the climate is similar to Spain?

Anderson:
First of all, I'm Brazilian. Thank you for your kind words. It is very good to be playing in a place similar to Brazil... and Spain. I'm very happy, this is my dream to play in the NBA. I hope that everything is going to be OK

It's good to see Australians making us proud :?

Fri Jun 25, 2004 2:55 pm

Jackson Vroman is in the NBA now...he should make a team, runs the floor well, finishes, blocks shots. He'll probably be a pretty good backup for Amare...

Fri Jun 25, 2004 3:11 pm

I think that T-Dot pick is an indication that they are going to get Steve Nash at the point or are thinkin a major trade soon ..because Toronto is fucked when it comes to the point guard spot ...which surprised me because i thought they were going with a guard ...I like the choice though ...because for the last several years when toronto had a good draft choice they went twith athletic this year they went fundmentals whih toronto needs ...a player that knows how to play the game using fundmentals ....whih will help carter and bosh ...a player that is willing to set a pick and this guy aint small ...so good choice ...what you guys htink?
