We still don't have self-shadowing, not that the global editing can fix that. But from what we've seen in previous years, there's always room for improvement with a good shadow mod, maybe an ENB mod, and some FXAA injection.
Nothing to lose in trying again this year.
Good luck SJ. Can't wait to see your first works. Make note of all your research, and I promise that the 2K13 Global Editor will allow you to adjust all the values separately, just like you guys have been requesting over the past year. It's going to be a complete rewrite, as the one I made last year wasn't really easy to expand, as I was building it quite naively.
With last year's experience, your research and experimentation and my programming skills, we're going to have some great shadow mods this year.

hey, leftos. I can't wait to see you guys great works! Thanks! Have u noticed that the graphic is different between Blacktop mode and the others mode? The player's self-shadow and the shadow of stadium in Blacktop mode is amazing! And the graphic in Blacktop mode is more like the graphic in XBOX360 and PS3.
so here's a problem, if we can create many unofficial global.iff with great graphic effect just like what seanjohn has been doing during NBA2K12, why not just transform the graphic in Blacktop mode to other modes?
