Gamestop. Digital Download, maybe.

Hey guys. I've been coming to this site for awhile now and "lurking" you could say, haha. I really find this to be a great wealth of knowledge when referring to basketball games. BUT, I may have a piece of valuable information regarding the digital download of NBA 2k13. I will copy and paste my post from the Steam forums:

I just talked to a guy from Gamestop Customer Service and he told me that he knew that Amazon got pushed back to the 16th, but as far as he could tell with them (Gamestop) they would have it for digital download tonight at midnight. He said it could be 3:00 A.M. EST time becuase 2K was located in California. He also stated that with it hours from launch, they should have known something if it were to change. So, maybe some good news? Lol. Let's hope Gamestop comes through if Steam doesn't.

I hope this helps a little. I've heard people talking about maybe an exclusive release from Gamestop. This could be it, who knows? Like he said...they probably would have been aware of the changes with the release date for digital download by now.

Thanks guys for the warm welcome. The only reason the digital download is important to me is because I live in eastern Kentucky and my Gamestops don't even get physical copies of PC games in. Well not many anyway, lol. I called two of them within 25 miles of my house and they said nope. I would just have to buy it online and have it shipped to my house. I could probably go to Lexington and maybe find one, maybe. Best Buy or something, I'm sure. This would just be quick and I could get my 2K13 fix

Thanks for the info. I won't keep my fingers crossed. I'm going to go hunt down a physical copy tomorrow and if I can't find it, I'll just order it. GameStop told me they don't keep PC games in inventory unless you pre-ordered it. Which makes sense since no one really goes to GameStop for PC games any more.

Seems like the PC version is actually easier to get a hold of in stores here in Australia. I wouldn't have expected that.

I have it coming via Amazon, received confirmation of the shipping overnight, says the disc will be here before 8pm tomorrow. If I have to go into Lexington for work tomorrow, I'll try to see if I can get it any earlier because the UPS fella normally runs around 5:30-6pm. Blah

Lmfao. Yeah that is hilarious. I used to live at the end of Moores Ferry, right by the river, loved it a few years ago. Yeah let me know if you have any luck if you get to go into Lexington tomorrow, just in case something doesn't go through tonight.

never mind this, it doesnt show up on gamestop.
