512x512 Shoe Format

I was reading threads from Old Live games when my attention got stuck on this DANet's Complete Shoe Update. I am bit curios,can I make a double resolution of my shoe patches base on DANet's shoe format,unluckily I dont have Live 05 installed on my computer.

Can someone give me the 512x512 .fsh format of a shoe patch or a sample of DAnets 2X shoe update? Thanks!!

The shoes are no bigger than the ones you are making(256x256).If you want to make 512x512 shoes then you should try it.See how it comes out.And then possibly release 2x and 1x shoes for your releases.Of course 2x shoes will also have that issue of possibly making the game crash just like the 2x jerseys.

TanyaMarkovA, I think you should have a look in Live 06 shoes. I remembered all of 06 shoes patch in my PC are in 512x512 :mrgreen:

Yah I know there would always be a tendency of crash with 2x shoes but I think that would be less since its not that big in size compare to jerseys.

Thanks,I found Calvin Yueh shoes in 2x format.The problem is,there are no Alpha Layers on it.I tried adding alpha layers the way I did on my 1x shoes but it doesnt applied.There are 2 files in 2x shoes,bsho and bshor.Can someone help me which file do I need to add alphas and how can I do the process?

I am pretty positive bsho is the file you are suppose to use.Just export it using fshx as a bmp file and then do your stuff.
