hey DC, did you test the mod with fresh installed live 08? or just mixed the previous patches?

hey guys,... i'm just new here in nlsc but i'm been following and downloading updates from nba live 08 for a such a long time... well, i've been reading all the posts here and i'm wondering, is still there any crashes in tup 12 mod.? because i want to first make sure that this mod is crash-free before i download it...

I've found some small issues its a timely & careful process but i haven't had any crashing during game introduction
what i did as far as i can remember was i used
1:NLSC rosters
2:i didn't install the game intro,outro overlay files
3. i used a compatible shoe pack for NLSC rosters.

I've had some crashes whenever I copy the shoe pack to my sgsm folder, I tried it with the bulls (2x Jerseys) and kings (1x Jerseys) without the shoe pack, it didn't crash. With the shoe pack it crashed in the intro of the match up. What to do?

That is odd.I do not see how the shoes could be the problem.I will look into it.

I can't find any problems on my end.It would help if you tell me which jerseys you used and who is the away/home team.Did you edit any of the players shoes in the edit player option?I need more details.

@Dc311 that happened to me also with the shoes
i used a different shoe pack and NLSC rosters and removed the game introduction overlay as it would crash when entering a Arena.
This helped it stop crashing for me

Okay, honestly I have some other little mods in my game. Such as the NET that Blake_Bryant uploaded, a realistic looking ball etc. I am using the Jerseys, from Blake_Bryant, Amenace, maybe a third guy. I am not using revolution 2x jerseys.

Some teams have 2x others have 1x.

So I played a game with both 2x Jerseys Charrlotte Home, Orlando Away. Just now, it didn't crash either. (Without the Shoe Pack)

but every time i installed the shoes that came with this download it would crash.
So i started to install things backwards .
What i mean is i installed the shoes first since that was the main start of my problems
changed a miami jersey and that fixed my miami vs okc crash
idk i would patch the main things i wanted first and then patch the art last

Yes.I always do a fresh install.I've lost count on how many times I have installed it for this mod.

Shoes can never be a cause of crash since its only 256x256,i even tried 512x512 and I never had problems.

Thats correct i did a clean re-install and this time im thinking its the 2x jerseys ...
Anyone know how to down size and make 2x jerseys 1x jersey ??Or this cant be done?

It can be done.The thing is,with some 2x jerseys,the numbers are placed on the actual buni.So when you convert it to 1x,it looks ugly.

This may be a bit off topic, but while I was in Dynasty Mode (With the TUP12 mod installed) using my latest Dynasty Roster. In the next year in the player evolution screen, I had 3 players 'grow' 2 inches. Mocktar Coles is 7'0, was 6'10 and these guys are like 27-29 years old lol.

Well somewhat of an update.
There is something that I forgot to put in the "READ ME" file.Make sure to place all jerseys in the unihalf folder that is located in the NBA Live 08/sgsm/uniforms folder.That is all.

Hello guys i have nba live 08 clean with tup 12 no game crashes but the game wont run after a certain amount of times anyone have a fix heres my specs

Windows 7
4 gb ram
500 gb hard drive
amd radeon hd 6480g
amd a4- 3300m apu

there's no problem running live 08 and you can play NBA 2K12 with that specs

are you using vista or win7? that was normally happens unlike xp you need to reboot your pc to run it again

You could 'run as administrator'. Try that one, odd I have never come across something like that before. I'm running it on Windows 7 64 bit.

This is just to show you all what it will look like with the newer 2x jerseys converted to 1x.The 1x of this one has the number on the actual buni so that is why it looks so distorted.
