Thanks, this was a long way to go. 82 Games and the 19 playoff Games, really tough schedule.

At the moment i can't wait to start the new season, but maybe i am going to simulate some Games this time don't know yet.

Thanks, it was really tough and a long way to go. The first time i finished a complete 82 Game season in NBA 2K. :D

I can't promise J.J. Redick is going to play a bigger role soon. You will also see i am going to upgrade my SG position in FreeAgency, with the new guy and Courtney Lee there is not so much space left for Redick.

I have to admit compared to the real Draft held yesterday this one looks really weird. :D

However Anthony Davis stays the No. 1 Pick for the Hornets. Sullinger at 2, Jae Crowder at 7, well we will see... Michael Kidd-Gilchrist the designed Top 5 Pick dropped to 15 drafted by the Rockets. The same with Robinson (20th Bucks), Beal (22nd Bobcats) and Lillard (26th Mavericks).

FA - signing part 1

Magic bring in J.R. Smith and Marcus Camby

The Orlando Magic made their first moves in the 2012 Offseason to prepare defending their title in 2013, signing J.R. Smith and Marcus Camby via Free Agency. Smith is supposed to be another scoring option beside Terrence Williams and Courtney Lee. Marcus Camby is a solid veteran to backup Dwight Howard on the Center position.

Yes, I love Camby :) Both good signings imo.. JR will be a solid scoring addition and Camby a nice backup. How's his overall rating?

Thanks, i will try to get Camby a Champioship which he deserves for his long lasting career. His overall is still 68 and he was one of the best veteran Centers available.

megarover wrote:When J.R is on he is ON. I like the move (Y)

Thats what i thought about J.R Smith, if he is on fire he can kill a team on his own and otherwise i still have other options to score. I think i also get a good price for him paying 6,6 million a year. Compared to the Blazers who locked Gerald Wallace 6 years - almost 11 million a year.

I also tried to land Eric Gordon but the Hornets matched my offer. :?

2012 Offseason Trades

Magic trade for Brewer and Sessions

Image

Nuggets get Jason Richardson (69), Quentin Richardson (65), '14 2nd rd Pick
Magic get Corey Brewer (72) and Will Bynum (66)

As i mentioned i wanted to get younger on this Roster so i needed to send away both Richardsons. Corey Brewer is an athletic slim Swingman who can also shoot the ball for me. He is 26 and shows some good potential on this Roster. Will Bynum has a 1 year 3.51 M contract, so i can get rid of him if i want to next summer.

Image

Cavaliers get Raymond Felton (75) + '13 2nd rd Pick
Magic get Ramon Sessions (75)

Raymond Felton played some solid Games for me but in all it was a disappointing trade, i should have kept Nelson last year. I think i am going much better with Ramon Sessions.

Magic resign Ish Smith (69) 4yr 9.27 M
I think Ish Smith can be a solid Roleplayer, he also has a B- grade on potential so much room to grow.

Magic resign Hasheem Thabeet 1yr 926 K
The 2nd overall Pick of 2009. We all know he is going to be a future All Star.

So after all, my Roster is going to look like this:

C | Dwight Howard (95)
PF | Ryan Anderson (75)
SF | Terrence Williams (77)
SG | J.R. Smith (78)
PG | Ramon Sessions (75)

-

SG | Courtney Lee (77)
PF | Glen Davis (71)
SF | Corey Brewer (72)
PG | Ish Smith (69)
C | Marcus Camby (68)
F | Earl Clark (66)
G | Chris Duhon (64)
G | J.J. Redick (70)
G | Will Bynum (66)
C | Hasheem Thabeet (58)
F | Qunicy Acy (62)

Around the League:

Heat trade for Kaman!

The Miami Heat acquire Chris Kaman to get back to the NBA Finals this year, but they had to give up Joel Anthony.

Heat get Chris Kaman
Cavaliers get Mario Chalmers and Joel Anthony

Warriors trade for McGee

Warriors get JaVale McGee
Wizards get Klay Thompson

Jeremy Lin to Cavs !

Knicks get Terrence Ross, '13 1st rd Pick
Cavaliers get Jeremy Lin

I know all those trades are very confusing and even for myself it is not easy to keep in mind who plays for which team.
So i am going to post the recent Rosters of all 30 teams within the next days, so you can have a look into it if you are interested.

Wow your squad doesnt really have a clear number 2 but they have guys tons of guys that can go step up and go off any game. The roster looks a lot like them 2011 Mavs. One superstar with hella role players around him.
