So, this is the excuse that will be coming up when Bron is the Finals MVP?
...Wade and the refs somehow carrying him to a title...
"... Puny God!!! ...” Dude, whatever stats you bring & the full on "legacy" cheese dialogues you say, if you don't admit that LeBron James is the prime time, one of the elite to ever play, no one can really challenge you to a discussion
Fri Jun 08, 2012 4:30 pm
Of course they can't, because the idea that LeBron James is elite is so laughable that anyone who understands the game doesn't even pay such nonsense any mind.

Right....last I checked, every NBA player was just roaming around dominating the playoffs, winning MVPs in the season and stuff....just chilling
As *▲$▲P* AlwaysBased said, people just don't want to give him the credit.
Even if he is scoring 45pts & carrying the Team on his own from elimination, some doody is made up & used against him. Talk about making the glass half....full empty

I don't know what's funnier: benji or the people who take him seriously.
That tech on Chalmers was rubbish. The tech on Garnett is the sort of thing that should be called more often. I'm sick of seeing players grabbing the ball after scoring, holding onto it for a few seconds, then lobbing it slowly toward the ref, as though that shouldn't be delay of game.

As much as I hate benji and his minions, he's absolutely right. Lebawn's 40 is Wade's mere 17. Same shit as both will get you the same result. It just shows you how Lebawn is good at stat padding. Pad Pad Pad Pad Pad.
Till he has 5th and 6th, he doesn't have any case. kthxbai.

LeBron celebrating after game 6 victory in Boston:

Hi,guys can ask you a question? If Lebron James wins his first ring do you think you could put him in the same sentence as Kobe and Mj? Also why do people compare him to Kobe when Kobe is his 16th season and lebron is in his 8th year?
Fri Jun 08, 2012 8:53 pm
I really hope Paul Pierce steps up in the next game. I still have faith.

I don't think there will be a race for greatness until he wins at least 3 rings.

Lebron already surpassed kobe in terms of being more dominant player but will not surpass kobe's resume. And lets not even brin mj into the discussion cuz it aint worth it yet.

Would really love to see Miami go on and face the Thunder in the Finals. It would be an amazing series.

Dominant performance by James makes people not talk about yet another bad game by Wade. Top5 NBA player my ass. So far he's had 2 good games in these playoffs. And even though the Celtics couldn't stop LeBron, they could have made it a close game by not being as incompetent on offense as they were. Other than that clutch three in game 5, Pierce isn't much good in this series. 4/18 FG in game 6, probably about 35% FG for the whole series, constantly in foul trouble despite not limiting James at all. Rondo really needs to attack more often, because he was actually hitting something. Creating his teammates wasn't working out so well yesterday. Bass was pretty aggressive, but he's just Bass - he won't win a game by himself.
I don't understand how can a team play so horribly in such a crucial game, in front of their own crowd. If the Celtics show up for game 7 as they did for games 3-5, they can win. If it's the Celtics from games 1 and 6 - no chance. The one good thing for Boston is that the Heat haven't found an answer for their defense at all. If Miami counts on LeBron hitting contested fadeaways in game 7 also, they might get surprised. They might need Wade to finally play well for the entire game, not just a few minutes. And that could prove difficult.

Wuh wuh wuh. Stop right there buddy. Wade bailed out Lebron so many times in the past that this actually was due.
The season is still on the line for the Heat though. I like how BOS was having trouble against our big line up with both Bosh and Haslem on the floor. Size is important. Great job, great effort this time, not just good.

And in reverse, I believe. Remember last year's ECF series against the Bulls? On the other hand there is obviously the finals against Dallas. But I think that's the whole point of them playing together - when one has a bad game, they don't necessarily have to lose. The problem is that Wade is playing terribly in the entire series again. Right now, it's pretty much Cleveland all over again.

The Celtics' trouble caused by Bosh comes from the fact that Garnett can't just ignore him (like he does Haslem) and go to help with James'/Wade's drives all the time. Of course, Bosh helps on the glass too.

Insane performance by LeBron in Game 6. Incredible. Boston on the other hand turned in a very poor performance, a perfect example of how not to close out a series at home. I don't want to count them out because they did hang tough and win Game 5 in Miami and if they show up they can at least make a game of it, but they threw away a golden opportunity. If they can't do any better than that, if Pierce can't hit any shots and KG has another quiet one, Miami probably won't need LeBron to pull out another game for the ages to move on to the Finals.

I know we joked about how the Heat should blow up their roster if they lose this series. But it's sorta inevitable that this was a long term plan like throughout 4 or 5 years down the road when they signed the trio, so there was no way that we could trade our bigs or amnesty any of them for now. So the question is for the Celtics. Their small 3 got old with years playing together and their big 1 in Rondo has grown to be quite something. Will they blow up their small 3 if they lose the game 7? Even if they lose, they were 1 game shy from the Finals which isn't too bad and perhaps things can be better with more depth and little adjustment to the roster. What are Celtics' fans thoughts on this?
Sun Jun 10, 2012 9:01 am
They won't blow up the big 3.I think they will stay and take smaller roles and help teach the youth on their team.

HOF performance by LeBron the other night, but it won't do much to shut up the haters. Folks who don't acknowledge him as the best in the NBA aren't paying attention. He brought a lot of hostility on himself with that media circus, but I think some fans have gone too far. I'm confidant Miami wins tonight, but being a Knick fan, I'll be rooting for OKC to wipe the court with them.

don't even need to watch tonight's game, cos

everyone and their mothers know who the NBA wants to win tonight

So hanging on the rim for ten seconds, then ripping at it as though trying to tear it from the support, is legal now?
