Raptors' starting C Thabeet out for 1 week with injury
Toronto (AP) -- The Toronto Raptors expect to be without starting center Hasheem Thabeet for about one week. He sustained a lowered back strain in Toronto's loss to the Bulls on Saturday. Samuel Dalembert will replace him in the starting lineup.

Raptors tweak starting lineup, hoping for more production from Iguodala
Toronto (AP) -- While Raptors' starting SF Andre Iguodala hasn't had a terrible season, he is underperforming a bit, averaging 11.6 PPG (37% FG), 3.7 RPG, and 3.1 APG. He will move to his natural position, SG, in the starting lineup. With Hasheem Thabeet coming back from injury and having started at center since the beginning season, Sameul Dalembert will replace him in the starting lineup. Linas Kleiza, who hadn't started a game for Toronto this season or last season, will become a starter at the SF position. He's been solid for the Raptors this past and current season. Streaky SG Nick Young will come off the bench to hopefully provide a sixth man scoring attack like Jamal Crawford. Jerryd Bayless will stay at PG, ditto Andrea Bargnani at PF. The Raptors currently stand at 9th place in the East, hoping to make the playoffs after being the NBA's worst team last season.

NBA Live 10 ------------------- NBA 2K12
This actually look like a downgrade lol, but the new Xbox doesn't allow you to upload pics to 2K share because it didn't come with a hard drive or something (not something I'm gonna spend a lot of time trying to figure out). Have to take pics of the screen with the built-in camera on my Macbook, but they'll do.
A couple of things I had to change/happened when catching this up in 2K12...
The Dirk to Nuggets trade involved the teams also swapping Al Harrington (DEN) for James Posey (DAL), and Denver giving Dallas their current 1st round pick.
I couldn't get Thabeet because he was in the D-League; will have to try to get him during the offseason
The Raptors were 3-6 at the All-Star break, and they had 2 All-Stars make the cut: Iguodala (8.7 PPG, 3.9 RPG, 3.3 APG with PHI) and Bargnani (18.0 PPG, 5.8 RPG), who was 4th in the league in scoring at the time
On contract extension day, extended Jerryd Bayless for a 5 year, $16.8M contract (around $3M per year)
The Dwight Howard led Orlando Magic (same team as the current one, no moves) won the NBA championship 3-1 (5 game series) over OKC; they swept Miami in the Conference Finals
Rip Hamilton, Anthony Parker, Marcus Camby, Grant Hill, Derek Fisher headline retirees. Byron Scott, who ended up in Detroit somehow, and George Karl are the only two coaches who retired.
2012 NBA Draft
BIG NEWS: Spurs show big signs of rebuilding as they trade the No. 1 overall draft pick and Tim Duncan for Derrick Williams and Amir Johnson. MIN selects SG Bradley Beal smartly, with Tim Duncan and Kevin Love manning the middle with no room for Anthony Davis.
Anthony Davis goes at 2 to the Hornets. What are the odds?
Thomas Robinson at 3 to DET, Jeremy Lamb to PHX at 4
Cavs trade the 5th pick and Tristan Thompson to the 76ers for Evan Turner and their 2013 2nd round pick. The 6ers take Harrison Barnes at 5.
Sullinger to Nets, MKG lands in Sac-Town
Free Agency
Raptors sign Brandon Bass to a 3 year, $7.19M deal.
Chris Paul creates quite a situation signing with the Cleveland Cavaliers, pushing Kyrie Irving to the bench. J.R. Smith also signed with CLE.
Vince Carter to the Bulls, Greg Oden picks up career in MIL, Linsanity in Utah, Billups to Indy
Heat, Thunder stay pat with rosters after playoff busts last season (Nocioni to OKC only move I noticed)
Knicks strengthen role player core with the additions of Shannon Brown and Spencer Hawes
Agent 0 signs with Suns, to start in the backcourt alongside Nash
Yi to take over starting PF spot in Dallas after the departure of Dirk last season
