Which team will you use in Dynasty Mode?

(This was also done this year. I'll move it to Dynasty Issues once that section is created - it's a little early to do that at the moment.)

I played a Dynasty with the Chicago Bulls in NBA Live 2004 for the first time since the breakup of the championship team. I didn't keep the rosters untouched - I traded Rose, Fizer and Mason Jr for KG - but aimed to play as realistically as possible. I went 64-18, won the title, and am currently 5 games into the 2004/2005 season. All in all, it's been pretty fun.

I might pick the Chicago Bulls again in NBA Live 2005 since they are my favourite team, but I've been considering starting a Dynasty with the Charlotte Bobcats. I think that would be an interesting challenging; I'd like to see if I could beat the Bulls' record for an expansion franchise (they have the best win/loss record for a first year club, and so far are the only expansion team to make the playoffs their first year in the league). It would be tough, and improving the roster in the first season might not be easy, but it would certainly be new.

Does anyone else have early plans for NBA Live 2005?

I usually fantasy draft, but if Live 2005 has the expansion draft, I might take a shot at the Bobcats too. I could create my own team and still play against realistic opponents.

It would be a fun challenge. I've always been a Knicks fan... And I love the way Hubie Brown has his Grizzlies playing. So probably a Knicks or the Grizzlies would be my choice...

I might take the Clippers or Bobcats ... I'll also be thinkin' of taking Phoenix (with 2 future all stars : A. Stoudemire and J. Johnson) ...

I'd take my hometown Golden State Warriors (hopefully without J. Rich).

Well, I might do a Lakers franchise, do a sign & trade with Kobe if possible. See if I can get a good PF to fill Malone's shoes.

If that doesn't work out, I might end up doing one with the Bobcats expansion draft, if they have it. I'll probably insert myself as the next MJ though.

Sixers as always, or, Bobcats.

Suns, Heat, Bucks, Raptors, maybe even Utah, Orlando, or Charlotte for a challenge.

Depends on what rosters look like after the summer. I like trying out teams that have changed completely because there are no prejudices on my mind. The Bobcats should help a lot with that.

i will have to play with my grizz first, especially with the new jerseys, arena and new players they will have. after that, i might test out the bobcats.

My Options are Always:

1) Clippers
2) Wizards
3) Heat
4) Suns
5) Raptors

I also used the Warriors, it's nice playing with them, but this year I'll likely try the Bobcats.

I'll probably play with my beloved Suns, and build around Amare. Or i might play with Bucks because they're pretty fun. I might give Orlando a go because Okafor and Tmac could be a fun duo (that's not to say that Okafor is definetly going to Magic).

I'll pick the Charlotte Bobcats (complete new team, a lot of money) or the Golden State Warriors (because I used to live in SF) or the New York Knicks (because it's my favourite team).

Same as every year, Atlanta Hawks, try to keep the roster the same as the real NBA as much as possible, then try my luck any old how the year after.

Should be interesting as the roster is so uncertain right now, I don't have an f'ing clue who they will have in the coming months.

A. Hendu - Yes, but will miss most of season with injuries most likely
and maybe C. Crawford, and that's about it, I don't have a clue.

This is problably the wrong section to ask this, but any thoughts on what there roster will be anyone?

I've been enjoying my Bucks chise, im prolly gonna keep going with the bucks.
dont know if i'll make the same moves etc. but its definatley fun and challenging.

I'll play with LA Lakers on All star difficulty and 5 minutes..

Hmm... interesting how most people pick the worst teams to play. I usually pick the team with the coolest jerseys and do a fantasy draft.
