cant open this tool

I've already install .NET Framework of the last update (4.0) and it's doesn't work either..
HELP?
Wed May 09, 2012 8:38 pm
It should. Download the .NET 4 Client Profile and repair/reinstall when asked.
Wed May 09, 2012 8:50 pm
Leftos, made that 4 time no helpful...
Wed May 09, 2012 8:59 pm
No idea then. The program complains that .NET 4 is missing, I can't do anything about that. Try uninstalling all .NET frameworks installed, restarting, and then installing .NET 4 Client Profile again.
Note that after doing that you may need to install other frameworks again as well, for other programs of yours that may require them.

Leftos, OK thanks anyway ill try that.
another question: May I use this without use the program?

i mean to download some file that doing that?
Wed May 09, 2012 11:35 pm
Doing what? Has edited global lighting? Because I don't get what you mean by the picture. If you mean edited lighting, there are plenty superglobals out there that have shadow mods applied. Look in this forum for them.

You want values? Oh, you'll get values. You'll get LOADS of values.
v0.5 has been released!
Combining the research of tatlopuyo and seanjohn1414 I have finally made a new version with 25, yes you read it right, 25 different lighting parameters for you to mess around with!
GET CRACKIN'!

Again, as I said, most Superglobals in the 2K12 Releases forum have shadow mods applied to them using this tool. Just look for them!

one thing i learned about my research about what john doe did last year is that he changed the values one by one to achieve the best possible results..for example he didnt change all the 00 00 40 3f values..just some and the way he changes that is also different from one to another...thats why sometimes there are problems using this tool like the white guys seems to be a lot darker while the dark skinned players seemed to have the perfect tones..also he changed a lot of values in the lower part of the global last year..i think there is where the reflections are..its too complicated..

anyways i talked to him a few weeks back and he said he might go back to modding soon..so hopefully he does and he can share things with us that will make things easier for us who are newbies with this kind of stuff.

Implementing something like this is possible, but I won't do anything like that before the summer. I understand that changing the values across the file may not give us the best result, but it'll take me quite some time to implement something like this for 25 values.
The most advanced global modders can still hex edit their way around. This is for people that don't have the knowledge or time to try different values in a lighting parameter that occurs 200 times in the file.
