4 Game Summary - Games 1 to 4
Williams stars as the Sixers overcome the Wizards
PHILADELPHIA -- The Philadelphia 76ers came away with a solid win on Tuesday night, beating the Washington Wizards by 8 points. While the Sixers didn't expect quite a lot from the Wizards, both teams certainly came out firing. An offensively biased 31-30 quarter in favour of the Sixers set the tone for the rest of the game, the final result being a 119-110 win. However, it was not all offense, Louis Williams and John Wall, the starting point guards for both teams did quite well on defense. Williams had 4 steals and Wall had 3, and Williams had 5 blocks while Wall also had 3 of them. Offensively, it was a big night for both of them, Williams had 43 points off 17-28 shooting, including 5 from deep and 4 free throws. Wall had 29 points off 12-23 shooting with just 1 from behind the arc. However, Wall was close to a 20-20, with a massive 19 asissts, setting up teammates left, right and centre. Other notables for the Wizards were Andray Blatche (18 points, 7 rebounds, 3 steals and 2 blocks) and Nene (14 points, 4 rebounds). Iguodala also played well for the Sixers, netting 27 points off 11-16 shooting. He also had 6 rebounds and 6 assists. Jrue Holiday and Evan Turner both proved to be very efficient, Holiday had 17 points in 14 minutes and Turner had 11 in 16. Spencer Hawes had an off night, only 6 points and 2 rebounhds in 33 minutes of playing time. Greg Oden might look to gain more minutes very soon if this continues.

Greg 'Glass Knees' Oden arrives
PHILADELPHIA -- Recently waived big man Greg Oden has been swiftly picked up by the Philadelphia 76ers earlier today. He supposedly signed a 1 year, 5.76m deal that could very well be extended later down the track if he performs, said a Sixers insider.
