1. What Is A Global.Iff?
It is a file that has the accessories and other stuffs basically the graphics of NBA 2K12

2. Where Is The Global.Iff file?
It is on the C:\Program Files (x86)\2K Sports\NBA 2K12 if you have a 64-bit system
and on C:\Program Files\2K Sports\NBA 2K12 if you have a 32-bit system

3. Where should I place my newly downloaded global?
You should place it in the folder where you can find the old Global.iff

4. How Can I Make A Global?
First you should download the Mod Tool and open it, then click open and select your global.Tben its simple you should look in the list from this thread

ok for example your now done searching well for an example I searched for the word kneepad yes without space sometimes they use _ then now that you know what is the number of the texture get a texture and click import res in the mod tool and its done do that step to every texture you want to replace.

5. How to add shadow to my global?
Well Of Course first download the Global Editor by Leftos you can find that on the downloads section then (if your editing a pre-patch global your good to go just copy and paste the value on the lightnings) and (If your editing a post-patch global click first the mode button on the top left and click post-patch then paste the values and your good to go) here are the default 2k values (NOTE THIS VALUES DOES NOT HAVE SHADOWS) play around with it to get shadows

Lighting 1: 000040BF -0.75
Lighting 2: 6666863F 1.05
Lighting 3: E4380E3F 0.5555556
Lighting 4: 0000803F 1
Lighting 5: 9A99193E 0.15
Lighting 6: 0000803E 0.25

IMO, you should make a little resource dealing with the global, gamedata, gamedataextra, english, and the gooey files which contain a ton of random things. My lists are good, but raw info doesn't always help.

Great job with the global info though

Hmm I just finished the global.iff list and I cant understand a crap about english.iff LOL.
