Last Year NBA Live Allow 100% Manger, Coach Only

Hi Folks, I am a newbie here and want to say Hi before i ask a question here, so here it is HI

I am the kind who likes to make all the moves, trades, coach, manage, draft and so on.
I know NBA Live offered the feature where you could do that and then just sit back and watch the games without actually playing a player on the court.

Would someone be so kind to tell me what was the last version of NBA Live and maybe nba2k has this?

I'm pretty sure that's been possible right through to NBA Live 10, though you must be in control of a team to call plays or make substitutions.

Hmm..I have 2006 and when i Tried it (about 6 months ago) I had to play as a player. Even in the franchise mode.

Am i missing something to get the PC to play itself and i don't have to in franchise mode, so i can just coach?

NBA Live 06 will allow you to play CPU vs CPU in Dynasty Mode. On the controller select screen, just move your controller from your selected team back to the middle and proceed as normal.

However, as I mentioned, when you aren't controlling a team you aren't able to call plays or make substitutions. NBA Live does not featuring a coaching mode.

Is there ANY NBA game that does allow you to manage and or coach properly like I would like to play?

I'm pretty sure the latest NBA 2K games allow for it, though I must admit I've never looked very deeply into that option as I don't play that way myself.

Yea, it's called "Coach Mode" in the 2K games. Look for that option in the game settings, I think you can even switch in and out of it mid-game
