Yup. Sums it all up. Also you can't like what VC is bringing to the team at the moment. Their supposed replacement for Chandler and Barea obviously haven't been there.

I wouldn't say he just plain sucks, when it comes down to it he's too good a player for that. However, it's looking like he's a complete write-off this year as it seems his heart's just not in it with the trade drama and stuff away from the court weighing on his mind. That's understandable, though I think it's fair to say he owes it to the Mavericks to do his best to get his mind on the task at hand and try a little harder.

I have my doubts if this defending champion team has what it takes to repeat this year. By that I mean another gear to reach in the playoffs like last year. The team characteristic completely has changed. Their pace is slower and they just aren't a great offensive team they used to be. Clearly, all those new comers aren't turning out to be offensively efficient. Tyson Chandler took offensive efficiency with him to New York but NYK failed to capitalize on his efficiency.

I think the Mavs will be pulverized. The heat with much urgency. Losing back-to-backs games is a big blow to the teams morale. In return, the Kings of South Beach would be more determined to take the W in the clash.

Dallas should already know that they need a Defensive Center to be a contender, if the next off season they only sign D-Will, nothing of this will change.
