Game speed hardly affects game pace. I've only seen it reduce the actual speed at which everything is simulated, player movement, ball movement. So lowering Game Speed to 0 doesn't force the CPU to play really slow. It makes the game go in slow motion. Don't mistake Game Speed for game pace.

I'm still baffled by the score's you're getting. I'm telling you I haven't gotten anywhere near these scores.

If the CPU is rushing towards the paint, force them out of there. Get back on defense quicker, set it up, play zones that block the paint, use the Lock Down Paint defensive strategy. I'm thinking that it's more due to lack of proper defense rather than a slider issue.

If nothing can get you around those issues, try lowering the CPU's Inside and Close shot tendencies. See if that helps.

P.S. I know the file's the old one. I'm really busy with exams and haven't gotten round to uploading the one with the updates. I'll do that soon.

Ok

I also think its a lack of good D , because my players arent running back after an def rebound from the opponent, so maybe this will help.

I just downloaded your sliders another time, changed the updated parts and will change blocking to 35 so that there are no strange blocks anymore.

i will also try with different teams.

Played Rockets vs TWolves today playing with the same sliders that Leftos posted. Despite playing a slow paced game, I was wondering why the game made up to 110+ points in 4 mins left in the 4th qtr. Any fixes from this? From the 6 games that I've played, I have never finished a game below 100 points.

So....finally

I tweaked your sliders a bit, lowered shot success for cpu, blocking for both, and also lowered the fouls!
I played with Superstar, 43, Clutch OFF, Shot Stick Timing, FT: Real %, and difficulty at 65.

And now i had a very nice game against the bucks.

I will see if more games are going like this one, if you want i can post my settings, so that people who have the same problems with the high scoring can improve it.

Glad to hear you've found settings that work for you. If you test them enough, post'em here so others can see them, and if they get good reviews, I'll copy them to the first post too.

Hi

Yes i will upload them as a file if thats okay ?
Or should i just write them down ?

I'm still testing a bit because of the steals and a high fg% of the cpu.
Maybe i'll change sth.

I'll post them about 19 o'clock german time!

Hey.

I'm still testing my sliders, but the cpu seems sometimes unstoppable.

The always find a way to get it inside and score against bigger guys. It seems my people are like slalom figures .... don't know...

I am reaching always 10 points after 4 mins. so there is no chance of a game below 100....

EDIT:

Changed my sliders again and simulated a whole season.
Screenshots below.

I Think these are some good results, so here are my sliders, i'm not 100% satisfied with them but maybe you can help me to get to 100% :=)

http://www.mediafire.com/?ebljc48p4wm1lyr

BIG EDIT :

I won't try to adjust the sliders anymore because i'm still not getting the results, i want. The Cpu is much faster than i am, they always keep pushing. If i made a basket, they are faster running towards my hoop than my players. Nearly 70% of there points are coming of such "fast breaks". It Sucks. I always pass the 50 mark in the second quarter. There is no chance for a game under 100 points. no way. Lowered all the take shots, so they play a little more, but they always overrun me after a rebound or a basket. It just sucks. It seems like i can't get back on defense. They are faster, making incredible moves and always get around my defense, even at zone, lockdown paint or intense d. No chance of playing good D.

On every stage the same: All Star Superstar HOF .... everytime.

Can someone help me ? Im freakin out !

Leftos, any plan to update these sliders so it can be compatible post-patch?

Once I can get myself to stop playing Mass Effect 3 in my free time, I'll continue my Association and if I notice things that need changing, I'll do so. I do small tweaks now and then, so I'll repost what I have soon enough. Mind you, those were based on post-patch console sliders, so you don't have to worry all that much.

Plus, try them now, give me feedback. Do you feel something needs to be tuned with them post-patch or do they still feel good?

Leftos, quick questions about individual sliders so I could adjust to my personal playstyle.

1) What slider controls the fastbreaks? I'm getting too many fastbreaks by the cpu on me, is there a slider I could adjust to reduce this?

2) Is there a slider that controls the "crowding" in the paint? I tend to get the cpu just crowding under the paint, I'd like to force them space a lil bit more.

I'm not that much of a sliders expert, and I've moved on to another set right now called "The Boat" for post-patch.

As far as fastbreaks go, I'm guessing the only solution is lowering offensive awareness and then getting back on D faster rather than trying to steal or messing with the offense right from the point where they grab the rebound.

Again, I'm guessing Offensive Awareness as far as spacing goes. That slider seems to handle so much. If you lower it you'll get less fastbreaks but also less spacing, if you raise it you'll make them more aware of fastbreak opportunities but also more aware of free spots on the floor.

Any word on "The Boat" sliders release? I'm finally done with my tweaks to Albys RR3 but I can't find a sliders set that I enjoy playing with

Search for the CheatEngine and TSearch related threads in the NBA 2K12 subforum. Using those tools and the proper post-patch file, you'll be able to apply any sliders to an ongoing Association.

However, I've got tired of saying this. These sliders are out of date. They were pre-patch, and don't work so well post-patch. There's plenty of good post-patch slider sets at OperationSports right now.
