Do you plan to make a lot of changes, or will you play with what Isiah Thomas has provided you with?

Starting lineups

Knicks

C-Nazr Mohammed
PF-Kurt Thomas
SF-Tim Thomas
SG-Allan Houston
PG-Stephon Marbury

Jazz

C-Jarron Collins
PF-Tom Gugliotta
SF-Andrei Kirilenko
SG-Gordan Giricek
PG-Carlos Arroyo

The knicks started the game slow letting the Jazz jump away with a 5 point lead till Lenny brought in his bench of Anderson, Penny and frank Williams who took over the first quarter and most of the second. Anderson hit all 6 of his shots on the night and just seemed to be in the right place at the right time, Williams added 5 assists in the 10 minute run.
The Jazz had fell behind and couldnt hit any open shots letting Mohammed, Kurt and Sweetney clean up the boards all having 9 rebounds each for the game. Raja Bell lead the Jazz of the bench with 18 in a low scoring night for Utah Kirilenko and Giricek both added 16 each.
Marbury got off to a very slow start but took over in the second half shooting 53% and handing out 7 assists he would take over in the 4th to finish with 26 points 12 assists and 4 rebounds also taking "Player of the game"

Final Score

87 - 77 KNICKS

Starting lineups

Knicks

C-Nazr Mohammed
PF-Kurt Thomas
SF-Tim Thomas
SG-Allan Houston
PG-Stephon Marbury

Grizzlies

C-Lorenzen Wright
PF-Pau Gasol
SF-James Posey
SG-Mike Miller
PG-Jason Williams

Its a blow out in New York but the knicks were on the receiving end falling behind by as many as 20. Not much i could do against a team that shot 60% for the game, Pau Gasol lead the Grizz with 22 points as he was the inside man while Posey and Jason Williams did abit of everything Williams came close to a tripple double with 10 points 10 assists and 7 rebounds Well's also came off the bench for 14 points.
For the Knicks Tim Thomas was a on fire hitting 27 points while the rest of the knicks were flat shooting just 40%fg Marbury came alive in the 4th but it was to little to late. I pulled it to 10 but with 1 minute left it was memphis's game.

Final Score

111 - 101 Grizzlies

Marbury take it in for two.

Pau was unstopable inside.

Starting lineups

Knicks

C-Nazr Mohammed
PF-Kurt Thomas
SF-Tim Thomas
SG-Allan Houston
PG-Stephon Marbury

Mavericks

C-Dirk Nowitzki
PF-Antoine Walker
SF-Michael Finley
SG-Marquis Daniels
PG-Steve Nash

I knew this would be a run and gun and and i wasnt wrong either with the Mavs scoring 35 1st quarter points behind Walkers 16. Antoine Walker shot 80% and was just to fast to handle. The problem with Dallas is theres too many good shooters so whenever i put on the pressure they alway came up with a big shot but this didnt put me off playing my style of game going inside and taking advantage of Dallas's lack of big men. Mike Sweetney had a season best 16 points off the bench while Marbury and Mohammed both hit for 24 with game high honours going to Antoine Walker with 32 points. Apart from Walker no other Mav even hit more than 13 points but they had 7 players in double figues proving why there hard to beat. Dallas had 52 points at the half but only scored 38 in the second which gave me a chance of victory in the final quarter when Stephon Marbury scored 12 to seal the win.

Final Score ~ 94-90

Player of the game

Stephon Marbury ~ 24 points 10 assists 4 steals

SF-Tim Thomas

Pacers

C-Jeff Foster
PF-Jermaine O'Neal
SF-Ron Artest

Recap

The red hot Pacers came to town winnning there first two game with O'Neal leading the NBA in ppg at 29.8 and he would continue to score at will however his team mate couldnt make a shot stopped by great team defence including 11 knick team blocks 5 from Kurt Thomas. Marbury set the tempo hitting his first 6 shots in a quarter that saw POG Allan Houston score 15, he would finish the night with a game high 32 points. Reggie Miller couldnt match Houston's 6-8 3p% but always came up with a big shot when needed, Jermaine O'Neal worked his way to 28 points to keep the Pacers in it he also added 13 rebounds. Late in the 3rd Tim Thomas went to the bench with an injury but was ok to return. Thomas the Knicks second leading scorer at 19.3ppg had an off night with just 9 point while been covered by Defensive player of the year Ron Artest.
In the final quarter i had a ten point lead and the Pacers had no more gas in the tank so i brought in DerMarr Johnson, in his 7 minutes he scored 11 points to round off the win.

How many minutes does Sweetney usually play? 11.5 rpg off the bench is pretty impressive.

I take it he's playing more minutes than Nazr, backing up both power forward and centre?

Well Mutombo isnt getting a look in at the moment so its Kurt Thomas who's switching to center when Mohammed goes to the bench. Nazr isnt playing alot of minutes i should really play him more, he's playing about 22mpg right now but his offence isnt that of Kurt's or Sweetney.

Knicks shocked at home

Starting lineups

Knicks

C-Nazr Mohammed
PF-Kurt Thomas
SF-Tim Thomas
SG-Allan Houston
PG-Stephon Marbury

Clippers

C-Chris Kaman
PF-Elton Brand
SF-Corey Maggette
SG-Quentin Richardson
PG-Eddie House

Recap

Elton Brand shot 80+% from the field as the Clippers upset the home team knicks with a 101-100. The Clippers as a team shot 48% and always came up with a big steal to stop a run, Brand who scored 25 points and grabed 10 boards played like an allstar beating whoever was playing him.The knicks were without any fire power as they looked flat and tired and were missing 5 foot shots all night long. As a team they shot 32% 12% from downtown but it didnt stop them from fighting there way back again and again going into the 4th down by 12 they fought well to get it down to 3 with less than a minute left , Tim Thomas was once again the high man scoring 34 points who got the lead down to 1 with 20 seconds to go then Houston stole the ball of House and called time. I thought i had this one in the bag coz the shooting touch had come bvack so i decided to give Marbury the ball who had 22 points 8 assists instead of the hot Thomas and it proved to be a mistake, Marbury got to the rim and was swatted by Elton Brand!! Clippers win it.

Final Score 101-100

Boxscore

Tim Thomas ~ 34 points 5 rebounds
Stephon Marbury ~ 22 points 8 assists

Recap

I just couldnt belive how bad i could play!! i missed shot after shot and didnt even pick up a man on denfence. Not too much i want to say about this game except that iam glad its over but the worse thing of all is that the game crashed when it was going to save it!!
From the start the Spurs pushed the ball finding easy baskets and building a 20 point lead at the Half, Duncan and Bowen smashed the Knicks for 29 and 25 points. only Tim Thomas scored more than 14 with 21 points but still shot bad from the field. Marbury was a no show and Houston shot just 4 of 20 fg's.

Knicks and Pistons Pull the Trigger on big trade

Today the Knicks and Pistons traded forward. The Knicks acquiring bad boy Rasheed Wallace in return the Pistons recieved Kurt Thomas and Shandon Anderson.

The Knicks added an allstar forward in Wallace playing on too very talented team (Blazers & Pistons) which he lead strong in the playoffs.
Wallace had been rumoured to of said that he wanted to be in New York and got his wish.

The Pistons knew that they needed too get something back if Wallace did leave, they werent too happy about letting him go but got plenty in return in Thomas and Anderson.

Wallace was welcomed by all.
