Is NLSC the biggest/most active basketball sim forum/site?

I was just wondering because in other games, like rfactor... They have forums (not corporate one's, like this forum) in where the dev's them self come into the mix of simple users of the game with any stuff (well specifically the game itself but they still mingle)...

I know NLSC has been here for a long time now... Have any dev's tried posting here just to ask around, help a bit or just share things... Or is it really a corporate thing that they cannot be seen outside of their forums/site because its in their contract or they just want everything about them in their company...

a few members of the NBA Live team have contacted us before and have asked for input from the community, but as far as I know none have become permanent visitors of the forum

and I don't know if we are the biggest, but we are one of the longest running forums

If you're talking sites that are solely dedicated to basketball video games, then I'd say yes. Certainly one of the longest running, as Q said.

We have had some developers post here over the years and hopefully will be able to have some post here in the lead up to NBA Live 13 as well. Most recently, we've had one of the guys check in and post in our Wishlist thread.

Actually I have been a lurker of this site since roster updates were possible...

Basically I was hinting at with this topic is since this site has been the longest (imo the best) and i guess established as well, there should be some Live/Maybe 2K Staff/Dev/Personality mainstay, right...?

Anyway, wasn't one of the founders of this site works for EA now...?

Tim used to, but he moved on.

I can only speculate, but any devs who post on here would first need permission from the company and would probably end up with a crap load of private messages and would receive a lot of negativity from users who demand answers.

I think it would be good to get some developers on here to answer questions in the forum when the game comes out.

For sure. As I said, we have had a few and will hopefully have some more of that interaction with the NBA Live 13 team in the coming months.
