[Tool] Roster Editor - REDitor II (Current v. 5.0)

Well, as Vl@d mentioned it, I must say it based on experience... "MyFriend" interface is HIGHLY recommended. It really speeds up editing.

I have a few questions:

- Although I already installed 3.1 over 3.0, and have the 3.1.1 .DLL copied over, everytime I open up the program, I get that message about a new version being available. Have I made a mistake on installing 3.1 without uninstalling 3.0? I mean, I was afraid I had to get another purchase code

- I'm having some problems with enabling pshoe. For example, let's say I wanna solve the issue about the "white" shoes on LeBron, Wade and Durant, without having to install the 2k Official Update from January 28. So I thought all I had to do was to put the bigger shoe file (of the 3 shoe files available for each player) that's available in the update (for example, let's say Kevin Durant) inside the 2k game directory, and rename it like, "pshoe1411.iff" (based on Kevin Durant's face AND portrait ID number, 1411). I thought it would work, but after I place the file and tick the "Use Pshoe" option with REDitor, the shoe became from totally white, to totally invisible

What am I doing wrong? Please help...

Don't forget to try and get the Season Mode compatible with the 360 version of the Editor.

it could be like last year in the last update set my player was also compatible. But you have to release if its not compatible yet for the pc it wont be for the 360. The pc comes 1st and then the 360 remember that. And the pc still has alot more things to be added.

Try allowing the tool to connect to the Internet.
You can also remove the following file:
%APPDATA%\REDitor II\VInfo.txt

Is there a way I can make a player unhappy so that they'll opt for free agency or a trade? I mean D. Howard right now in my Association is really happy with the Magic no matter their bad record and his contract thoughts are that he wants an extension. I've decreased his loyalty to 10 which makes him "Not Loyal" and tried to decrease his morale (didn't seem to work, no difference in-game) but he still doesn't seem to want to leave.

Any solutions?

hey vlad for those of us waiting for the xbox360 version of the reditor could you consider releasing an "early version" of the reditor and then when you aren't as busy you can install the more "detailed" complex stuff that goes with it later on? That and I'm sure there are those of us around here who wouldn't mind helping if it could help speed up the process. I do realize and respect you have other obligations and duties, though I'm sure if there is any way all of us can help we would be more than happy to contribute and get it completed.

Vl@d, I found something interesting today. Could you find out if there is something that allows someone to become a "play initiator".

I made a CAP of Ivan Johnson and he is a PF. He has low dribble skills, low ball security, and low awareness. But for some reason, he constantly starts the offensive play like LeBron James. The same thing happened when I cloned Roy Hibbert into a CAP slot

This could be very useful for roster makers looking to make players play more like their counterparts.

I had my hopes up to when i seen the update to 3.1 couldn't get to the first page fast enough... sooooooooooo bumbed when I saw it was just shoes and stuff.. I even have all my stuff edited out and ready to go in excel but now I had to add 3 extra lines lol My gaming life is really on hold untill the 360 version comes out its unbearable... but I know vlad is doing his best.

I think I stated this in much detail regarding the status of 360 talbes on o.s. the is delay is based on life and other more important things in life. As stated before the tool will be done when its done.expct something up too par with the pc release. Nothing less then that would not be vlad style.

you might to look to make sure the proper license # is there if not re in put it and you should be good.

You should simply use Help -> Request A New Key... dialog box and enter your reg. name and old key there, so a new one will be generated.

Nope, sorry, but i won't release any half-functioning versions on several time and money reasons.

Shoe names are most likely stored in english.iff file, while i believe, new shoes can be easily added by just adding new shoes .iff files with correct names into the game folder.

CH 2K8 game was suggested to become supported by RED about a year ago, actually. But it has been being in To-Do list ever since... Unfortunately, i'm very limited on time, so even some more prioritiezed things aren't done yet (Help file, TMM files, many, actually...), so as of now i don't even know what to say about the point... The other difficulty is the fact, the game has never been release for PC, so this adds some more decoding difficulties.
Let's hope for the best, though... Anyway, my current top thing to implement is supported NBA 2K12 360 files. Some more exact news coming up next week.
