Hey, any news about the Sonics mod ? It's been over 2 weeks and nothing yet The court looked almost ready in the preview. Someone else was working on the jerseys and said they were almost ready too. Then we just need the logos, which we can use from the 2k11 mod.

I have worked on the logos, and some other stuff. Roster file already edited, Arena name, team colors, even the Sonics logo on the starting screen... All minor work in comparison with working on the court floor, and especially in the jerseys, which IMO, gives the most work, by far. Because if you just put the jersey file from 2k11, some bugs appear on a few camera angles. And if you transfer all the textures from a 2k11 file into a 2k12 file, it kind doesn't look so good, and besides, I don't know how to change the color on the numbers (front and back) and on the name (back).

It's bad, because Myth is probably busy with school (and we should respect his time) and I don't think that other modders are willing to help at all, which is just sad and unfortunate.

Here's what I did so far (I'm no modder, in any way)... I've just inserted the Logo on the starting screen, the jerseys (current and classic) were designed by Mythbuster for 2k11. The practice jerseys were made by MILKMANANT . I just putted the 2k11 files into the 2k12 folder, just for fun. I won't release any of this. Just to show how cool it would look (That "shadowed Thunder" on the controller selection part of the screen can easily be replaced by the '95-'96 Sonics, or somebody can design a new one)

Hey rotchild, great work mate You still did a good job even if you're not a patcher If you can edit the roster removing the 95-96 from the Sonics team name, it will be better than overwriting the Thnder team. You know, I still want them in the game so I can kick their ass with the Sonics So I'd rather overwrite the graphics and team name of the 95-96 Seattle team with the graphics of the 2007-08 Sonics.Hopefully, mythbuster will release this mod soon. I can't wait to play with the Sonics in 2k12 !!

I am not sure if you can change that but i just see that the middle line ( i dont know how its called Oo ) the blue line is touching the Nba logo





And also there is a lot of stars in the bench area but i dont think you can do that ...

Well... Guys, good and bad news. There is an All-Star Online Data Update now out by 2K, which updates both the court and the floor for the All-Star and Rookie Challenge game.

That means that although you can have a stock All-Star experience, any mods of the All-Star court will need hacks to work, either by using Keep My Mod (thus losing any Online Data Updates that aren't in your installation folder) or by editing the arena in REditor.
