Awesome to see my Bulls being just 1 game behind you, if you don't play well we'll snatch that top spot in a hurry Martti!

Yup, that's 2K. Hadn't seen such a thing before. I feel it's gonna be between him and D-Wade. Getting the MVP with Wade would be really special for me, as I've never won the MVP with him before, in any game. That bitch from Memphis usually gets in the way.

2K loves LeBron...as do most of the media

Well D-Rose is a humble guy, so it's not completely unlikely he'd say that. 2K did a great job in capturing his personality, that's for sure.

He's a humble guy but a confident humble guy...theres a difference. He, like Kobe and Michael, would never ever say that another player is better than him...evident by him asking why can't he be MVP last season (and actually doing it)

When are you going to play the Lakers next?

Don't know, but I will recap it for sure.

Will find out.

The HEAT are a league-best 28-6, but isn't all good news from South Beach. The teams reserve rookie, 11th pick Jimmer Fredette, has been searching for more playing time. It has been made clear to the former College player of the Year that it's hard to find time in a back-court that already includes MVP candidate and 8-time All-star Dwyane Wade, 2nd pick Kyrie Irving and Mario Chalmers, who shined in the Finals last year. Are Jimmer's days in Miami over?
Also not happy is the team's third-string C Omer Asik. Asik's playing time has been vanished since LeBron was shipped out and the team acquired Marc Gasol and later Serge Ibaka. Joel Anthony has been in Miami for years and is one of coach Spoelstra's most prized substitutes, as is Udonis Haslem.

The Suns have (finally) fired head coach Alvin Gentry, after the Suns started 8-30. The Suns have clearly entered the re-building stage. Steve Nash went off to find success in Los Angeles and what's rest, is mostly a young core and veterans whose contracts are coming off the books. Lamar Odom is the leader and the Suns have a very long and tough road ahead back to the glory days.
As another deal, the Suns have acquired guard Axel Gomez from the Magic for C/F Donatas Matiejunas. After dealing away Nash and Will Sit, the Suns were in search of another PG. They believe to have found that in Gomez, the 19th pick of this draft. Matiejunas was the 27th pick of the draft and never really found his groove in Phoenix, especially after the team acquired Lamar Odom.

Time for a stint in the D-League for the Jimmer.

I can't send him for some reason, it's not an option. Can I only have 1 player in the D-League? Jordan Hamilton is there...

Trade Asik back to Chi-Town!!!
Love how you pointed out the fact that LeBron's points came in garbage time

great win
Wed Feb 01, 2012 7:45 am
Yeah, I had a 20-point lead or so throughout the fourth, I had Jimmer, Haslem, Asik and others in the game for the final 6-7 minutes, while LeBron played the final 10 minutes of the fourth, as did Mayo.
Asik to Bulls? For Shaq?

(Who's retiring after this year)

Not a bad deal for both sides, Shaq will give you some offense in limited minutes and he'll get to finish out his career where he once won a title. My Bulls will get their awesome backup center back

Jimmer certainly showed he deserves more playing time
Great game by Gay too. Wade -- well, not too much to say

Will play @ New York and @ Lakers is up after that.
Played the Knicks game already and be ready for some changes after that.

I think Wade allowed the lead to collapse so he can show everyone the difference between him and the former Heat....the Clutch Gene
Thu Feb 02, 2012 8:32 am
Some sick heroics by D-Wade lately. Though I hate how Stoudemire was actually giving him the ball on that play. Seems like your team is really clicking.
Thu Feb 02, 2012 8:45 am
hova-, you should read a couple of updates before, it's not all good.
Thu Feb 02, 2012 7:06 pm
Well I was rather referring to your great record and not to two young scrubs who have problems with the fact that they just cannot play well in the NBA
Fri Feb 03, 2012 2:32 am
D-Wade pulling a Reggie Miller on the Knicks. He's looking like the MVP.
Fri Feb 03, 2012 6:17 am
I really hope I can win the MVP with him. The Grizz just got Jamal Crawford, I hope they won't go on a winning streak, then it'll go to LeBron. Rose also needs to slow down, he is still displeased.

Heat send Jimmer to D-League, Asik to Bucks
The HEAT announced they have called up Jordan Hamilton from the Sioux Falls Skyforce, their NBA Developement affiliate and have sent down their 11th pick, Jimmer Fredette.
Fredette has been averaging slightly less then 11 points per game, but has been seeking more minutes. Those are hard to come however in a deep back-court and the HEAT have their rotation set and are sitting at 31-6, top of the league.
Hamilton averaged 9.6 points, 4.2 rebounds and 2.5 assists in the D-League where he was sent after suffering an injury during the training camp.
The HEAT also announced that they have sent Omer Asik to the Milwaukee Bucks for veteran Ben Wallace, the 4-time defensive player of the year. Asik had fallen out of the rotation in Miami, averaging just 5 minutes a game after nearly 20 minutes a game last season. Asik will be a valued piece to the Bucks, who are without Andrew Bogut for an extended period of time.
The team also released PF Sean Williams. In his place, the HEAT signed two veterans - Eddy Curry and sharp-shooter Peja Stojakovic, both for veteran minimum contracts.
The HEAT also signed undrafted rookie Drew Cook. The 23-year old C from Clevland State has a lot of potential with his 7'4 frame. However, Cook needs to develop his offensive game, in Cleveland State he was a defensive force, averaging 2.3 blocks in just 18 minutes per game.
The HEAT will face the Lakers with their new additions on Thursday.
Mon Feb 06, 2012 4:18 am
So now my rotation is like this :
C - Ibaka, Anthony, Curry, Cook
F - Bosh, Haslem, Wallace
F - Gay, Stojakovic
G - Wade, Jones, Hamilton
G - Irving, Chalmers
Will play the Lakers later tonight when I get home.
