Should I download all updates or just the last one (2.4)?

They're not incremental, so just grabbing the last one gives you all you need.

Re: Superglobal Codename Moose v2.5

Postby Leftos on Tue Jan 31, 2012 10:03 pm

v2.5 released! Main file and TNT Full Pack available.
Replaced my Adidas Techfit Arm Sleeve with BBmyLove's since it was the clear winner of the poll.

Since that's the only change of 2.5, if you preferred my Arm Sleeve, you can keep using 2.4 and won't miss out on anything.

The Muscle Reduction Patch wasn't included as the final vote was 33 against and 16 for.

Thanks for the kind words.

There's no plans right now for v2.6, however. I'm deep in my winter exam period and it's keeping me really busy, and the rest of the time I have to maintain 3 tools and a superglobal, while trying to find some time to continue my Association and at the same time test the tools and superglobal to make sure everything's okay.

So unless something really cool and new comes out or there's some accessory I've missed, 2.5 will be the latest and greatest.

My focus, when time allows, will go towards NBA Stats Tracker. I'll be looking to make that tool my thesis for my engineering diploma, and there's features that I want to develop so that it becomes a full-fledged stat analysis tool, such as completing the Trends feature and adding Player Stats to the mix. I want it to be, later on, used by real basketball teams and associations that will want a tool that's effective in helping them keep track of stats and scout opponents, but also at a really good price as well.

1. You'll have to go into the NBA 2K12 Tutorials section of the forums
2. find the thread that has the list of IDs for the Global
3. find the ids of the accessories you want to keep the defaults
4. Open the original global in NBA2KX ModTool, extract the accessories you want to keep.
5. Open my superglobal in NBA2KX ModTool, import them into the same IDs.

I won't make a more detailed tutorial. There's all the info you need on how to extract and import textures from game files in the Tutorials section.

Leftos, I see your global in "v2.5 TNT Full Pack" is having non-nba2k icons (its either live or ps3..). You meant to add them to or it's just a mistake?

Yeah. I'm always using Live icons in the full packs. Sorry I forgot to mention that.

Good luck for your exams bro! Take your time and I'm sure you'd get a good grade with that because you've also got a good feedback from your great contribution in the patching community :D Thanks men!

Thanks - great mod, the 2.5 (Y) everything is perfect and I love it to death

.... except the guys in suits, although very neat, looks like they're going to a wedding.

Well, thanks for your kind words, I guess.

Even if you don't like the coach suits, I think that saying "they mess up my entire work" is quite extreme. There's quite a lot of mods included in the global and the coach suits are such a minor thing that I can't imagine someone being put off the entire work done by just their color.

Still, you can always extract and inject the default 2K suits, or ask TNeckDME to improve them. I'm keeping them in, in case you're wondering.

Well, yeah - you're right, it was extreme.
Let me rephrase myself: it slightly devaluate your great, great work.
There is nothing wrong with the colour of the coach suits - it's the model with the different colour of the jacket lapel and the pin stripes on the pants.
No coaches wear those (not snce Digger Phelps retired from Notre Dame anyway) and the rest of your mod is very, very realistic.

Thanks for the tip

Small update, but adds the very much requested Adidas calf sleeve-like sock by Dmayne.

Also, the TNT Experience and TNT Full Pack have been slimmed down by removing the original logos by Sixers, since he and others are using the same files to update court logos. And of course, the 2.0 scoreboard is now in, fixing the original one's issues.

EDIT: Apparently someone updates the Moddingway download entry each time I release a new version before I get around to it! :D Whoever you are, thank you very much, you're saving me some trouble.

Hi Leftos,

Amazing superglobal...thanks for all your work. Really enhances the game. I was wondering how I can change the color of the "sock" portion of the calf sleeve to white? It only comes in Team Color 1 in my game...ie only RED. In the picture above, it comes in white...but I can't figure out how to change it to white. I don't really need white for home and black for away...I would actually prefer white only. Is there a way to change it? Thanks.

phastest,
not something I could answer. Ask Dmayne, the creator of the specific accessory, either by PM or in his thread.
