First it were Shaq and Gary Trent I believe, Trent gave Shaq a push after he was fouled by Mark Madsen and Shaq shoved his arm away, then Slava got a technical because he gave Garnett a extra push after the foul was called, then I think it were Gary Payton and Wally zczxccjizxjcerbiak who both got technicals after Fisher bumped into him on a pick and roll, and payton came to back him up, and ofcourse Malone running into Darrick Martin.

What I noticed in the whole game, it were the guards who started to score in the game (Kobe Bryant and Gary Payton), I think they combined for 20 points in the first quarter, but after the first Shaq wanted to get the ball more downlow, but he had a hard time finnishing, and also Free-Throws didnt went in untill late in the fourth (including a airball what had the crowd started). I would like Malone to step up more, he had countless wide open looks which he would take, but he didnt. Also, I expect more from Derek Fisher to step up, he only took 2 shots including one 3 pointer, and thats not the energy the Lakers need from the bench, I would like to see him more like game 1 where he took a shot when he was feeling he could make it, he was just gone today and I hope he will join the team in game 2.

Kobe also sucked in the second half, someone should slap him ro something and tell him that he should keep going inside instead of shooting fallaway 18 footers. He did it in the first half, but not only did he drived to the basket, he also was shooting when he dribbled his way open, and those are shots he is going to make instead of turnaround fallaways in the second half.

I think the Lakers are definetly better at home then they are during away games, and they should use their homecourt, I had the feeling the Timberwolves would get 1 game at their house (I predicted game 1 before the series started), but I see the Lakers winning 3 straight now.

The Lakers mailed it in. They realized they already came in and split the series and didn't feel like giving the game the effort it would've required to really put the nail in Minny's chest.

(Y) I couldnt explain last night's game better than that. They were doing ok, once they were double teaming Shaq, he kicked it out to Payton, and Payton nailed the three. He was wide open...after O'Neal started missing, they stopped doubling, thus no wide open looks.

Yeah it was really wierd because both teams wanted the call, but neither actually got it. I think that the refs got tired at the end of the game and just wanted it to finish

Lakers won as everyone or maybe most of us expected.
Gp took on scoring for lakers in 1st quarter with o'neal scoring just 8 and held kobe 0 pt in 1st half. but at 2nd half it kobe time and shaq dominance.
malone did a great job again against KG. and as marv and mike said KG has a good game but not a great game.

Game 4 will be different but it will have a same outcome

The game started at 04:00 in the morning over here, so I had to stay awake the whole time to watch it, but I fell asleep, because they showed NBA Action for like the 10th time this week which is boring as hell, I should watch something more excited like a homeshopping channel or something, anyway. I mist the first quarter but I was kinda 75% awake for the rest of the game.

Kobe had a strange game, he only took 2 shots in the first half (1 threepointer which he bricked, and 1 buzzerbeater because Malone was to unselfish and should take the shot himself), but he came back in the second half scoring all of his 22 points in that period.

Gary Payton played very nice the entire game, specially the first half where he scored 16 points I believe, and made some 3-pointers to get a early lead.

Also what caught my eye, was that Devean George has finally returned from the San-Antonio Spurs series, he was hitting most of his shots which were 18+ ft shots which were mostly wide open including 2 of 2 threepointers, he can be a big factor for the Lakers upcoming games if he plays this way, because when they needed baskets he made them. I hope he will keep going like this in game 4.

I was kinda happy that the ref didnt call the foul on Mark Madsen when he was holding Shaq, he was shooting under a poor FT%, and the game turned back into a 8 point lead for the Lakers so seeing Shaq on the line in that situation isnt the best thing that could happen for the Lakers.

Im still going to say that the Lakers can do this in 5 games
