Dudley was solid at the end of year i'll give him that. he's made himself into a reliable perimeter shooter. his problem is that he's more suited to play SF. he already had questions coming out of college if he could play SF because of his lack of athleticism and yet the Suns have him playing at SG. he's too slow to guard any decent SG. you pair him with Nash and the Suns have a very poor defensive backcourt.
With Grant Hill resigned, there's not a chance he's taking over the SF spot. Then there's Josh Childress who's still owed $20 mil over 3years. he is a superior defender and more versatile player then Dudley. And Brown's skillset is a better fit for the Suns system. It's realistic to project that Dudley will only average 23-25mpg.
i am still game for a bet. if you think he can repeat those numbers from those meaningless games last year- $20 says he doesn't.
one last thing- most teams that win the TO category have poor records
