over-rated and underated players

who do you think is over rated and under rated?

According to the way NBA 2K12 plays, D-Rose is far over rated. When under CPU control he hardly scores. When he does drive to the basket he's usually blocked.

rudy gay is overrated no doubt. he's not that good at all.

You can't judge players by their super star status...R. Gay puts up very solid numbers all around, 19.8 ppg, .396 from 3%, 6.2 rebs, 2.8 asst., 1.69 stl, 1.07 blk. If anything, I think the game underates non-super star status players.

David West is fairly underrated as well. He always puts up gaudy numbers.

Every player that does not have super star status is under rated. World Peace is only 71...T. Chadler is 71, M. Gasol is 73..the game doesn't compensate rating well based on position like previous versions. PG who are good passer and ball handler but not good defenders are way under rated. Centers who are strong rebounders and blockers but not good offensive players are way under rated. The game doesn't really compensate based on strength at that position.

Pretty much all players are underrated.

Take the mp mode. Get drafted in the second round with awful rating then have a better rating at the end of first season than 90% o the players.

I made a roster for 2k11 and had bench players with 80 ratings sometimes. was much more fun to play with

I think rookies have always been over-rated, it's good to see they've been toned down a little bit this year, but Nolan Smith at Portland being 71 compared to Wesley Matthews at only 73 is somewhat disconcerting.

this years rookies seem way over-rated to me especially when there hasnt been an NBA game played yet. ive not played/simmed any association with these new rosters but i get the feeling that in a couple of sim years we'll be seeing and avg player rating in the 80s.

anyone else feel this way or is it just me?

Yeah many Rookies are Overated. But then you got Derrick Williams with just 71 or Enes Kanter with just 63...

Underrated: AJ Price. So 2k Thinks that 90% of D-League Players are better then the Backup PG of the Indiana Pacers from Last Year...Yeah, sure...

Roy Hibberts Midrange. Even the commentators say that Roy Hibbert can knock it down from far away! And he got a low 60 in Midrange. For the second straight 2k!
