Franchise Mode

I would love to the franchise mode be multiplayer like it was in nba live 2003. What about you guys, did you like that?

Oh yeah does anyone know a good site that would have any information about the frachise mode and whether or not it will be mulitplayer

EA haven't released much information about Dynasty Mode yet. I don't know whether it will be multiplayer as in previous years (with the exception of Live 2004), but I would certainly like it to be. One of the previews seemed to suggest it might be multiplayer, but I would take that with a grain of salt until we have more concrete information.

I think I read somewhere (was it Gamespot?) where they said that they were going to look at some of the things Madden did, like in terms of a more interesting FA signing system.

I have little info but enough i hope?
First, ther will be game interventions in simulating a game.
Next, next there will be a indept NBA type of news section similar between MVP and Madden 2005 with the customizable PDA.
Last, this really doesn't mean much but there will be more overall control in your dynasty mode taking live to a whole new level.

who cares about multiplay ? i want madden-level dynasty as mentioned.

People with friends that wanna play a dynasty together and test there gaming and manangement skills against eachother. Or people who like to control more than 1 team at a time. Madden has this feature.

I really hope they can give the dynasty a breath of fresh air...

It's been very stagnant the last couple of years. They really should try to do something about it... The game will always look and feel good, but the dynasty is what really keeps you playing and if it is more of the same bullsh*t then it's not going to be too cool.

This is the game breaker trust me on this one... If the dynasty gets some new improvements then the game will rock... Otherwise it won't, no matter how good and smooth the graphics are.

Its like this..........If the dynasty is multiplayer ill buy and if not they can forget it. I mean it gets old after about a month or so playing the same modes over and over. And Im with cocobe i have friends and we compete to see who has the best GM skills and ballings skills.

this might sound gay..but we have a draft and everything--kinda like fantasy basketball but we play the games as well--then in the upcoming years--we'll patch and add our friends or hot prospects to the draft. It's me and 2 of my friends and we are really nba live heads--

we do the same thing with madden as well, until Live hits.

I believe that if they can make it appear so that the league is "alive" everyone will play it had it the multiplayer or not. I for one would like to get back on track with that multiplayer stuff, it's fun playing with a friend and makes it more live then just staring at the static screens in Live 04.

There needs to be more interaction in the game... The feel that you can actually make some difference even between games other then trading for new players... There just isn't enough beef in the burger for that in Live 04. I certainly hope Live 05 will make improvement in this area. It really doesn't matter much else.

NHL 2004 has a training system, you set different types of training sessions for each non-game day (day off, short, medium and long) and these have all sorts of effects on the day-to-day shape and mood of the players. This would be a great addition to Live as well... It makes you get more into the game although it's pretty static as it is. It's something to do other than trade players and play games. Live training sessions were just horribly implemented last year. It was primarily used for downgrading your team which is just wrong! But I won't get into that...

I mean, if you get a burger with beef, cheese, salads, gravy etc. you'll eat it right up... Dynasty in Live 04 pretty much feels like a burger padding with a slice of lettuce in between... Who'd want to eat that. WE NEED MORE BEEF!

I agree with you totally. So if you or anyone finds out about the multiplayer thing please post and let me know b/c i have been searching everywhere and haven't found anything yet.

You can expect only small pieces of information at this point... And you probably won't find anything too concrete about the dynasty yet.

Hopefully we'll get something good to with the good gameplay.
