You did a great work no doubt about it. I myself wouldn't done it.

But when I did load it up and played the game with this skin v2. it just didn't "feel" right and look right in away that nba2k11 did. Especially the legs it looks like their cavs are always flexing and I didnt like that. I wish someone or you can bring the skin from nba2k11 and put into nba2k12. I think it needs more work. This is just my opinion thats all.

So far, I've only decreased the sweat on the legs. I'll leave the other sweat textures alone for now.

Thanks for the honest critique.

Were you using the regular version of the Skin mod, or the "default muscle" version (that tones down the muscle definition to look more like NBA 2K12's default)? I've been considering using the toned down leg muscle textures for V3, because the calves do seem to be too muscular.

You look at the display of the player after his game

the face of the player is have sweating effect in reality

Skin V2 is a little dry on face

(Effect on the arm has been perfect on V2 (Y) (Y) )

I've finished the new gear textures.

I tried my best to darken the gear to match darker/colored jerseys better, but not too dark to the point where the white textures look gray.

If you guys don't see any issues with the gear, I'll go ahead and release V3.

I might be misunderstanding your question, but if you're manually adding the files to a different global.iff, you need to use ModTool to apply the textures. If you just copy and paste the textures to the NBA 2K12 folder, they won't show up ingame (since the game only reads from the IFF files).

ASKOBE wrote:the face of the player is have sweating effect in reality

I actually agree with this, but the problem is that NBA 2K12 seems to apply full sweat to the face immediately, rather than progressively (like the past few 2Ks). A sixth man can come off the bench 3 minutes into the game, but look so sweaty that it was like he was already playing for 26 minutes.

To my knowledge, the no icon mod only affects gamedata.iff. The Enhanced Sideline Mod only affects gamedataextra.iff. They should be compatible with each other, but I can still upload the DDS files.

I've never used the Mod Tool, i'll download it,but could you add quick instructions for dummies in your V3 release? All i know how to do is copy and paste into my 2k folder, but i don't want to replace my current global.

Wow, nevermind. I have no idea what the tutorial was trying to tell me for the 2k mod. I have edit files? I thought it was going to be a simple copy of the textures i downloaded and paste it inside the global folder or something. Oh well, i guess i have to download the global...

In my opinion, ready to go!

About that so called "zombie eyes" aspect, already fixed?

Re: [T-Neck] Enhanced Series V3, Sidelines, Generic CFs

Postby TNeckDME on Sat Nov 05, 2011 12:39 am

OK, folks. I've released V3 of what is now known as the "Enhanced Series". The global includes all 3 mods - Skin, Suits and Gear. I've also moved it to the top of the first post for convenience. Enhanced Series V3 and the DDS files for it (as well as DDS files for the Enhanced Sideline mod) have been uploaded to the NLSC Downloads section. To recap the update:

Update V3: Added new and improved gear textures, which match dark uniforms more closely. Improved eye textures to eliminate the dark "zombie" effect. Reduced leg sweat and intensity of leg muscles.

Thanks again for checking out the mod, and I hope you guys enjoy it.

Thanks for release TNeckDME!

Unfortunately in my game, the gears didnt work well on my game - some teams, like Knicks, sleeves became darker than already are.

Is it possible the Enhanced Series new version come with the sweat reduce only?

thanks again!

Yeah, here's a download link for V3 without the gear textures: http://www.mediafire.com/?krl7zbykc5sb2kz

Thanks. To be honest, I haven't tried a photomod with 2K12 yet. I will eventually, now that I've figured out what was causing so much stuttering while playing NBA 2K12.

Thanks. Unfortunately, I know very little about how 2K12 applies sweat. I just retextured and darkened each RGB channel in the sweat texture files to reduce the effect.

I was told that there's a user on another board named "threeq", who made a global with progressive sweat. That's all I know.
