I have two questions. What is a good video card that I can get for a fairly cheap price and how can I tell what the frame rate is when I'm running Live 2003?

This is a relative questions..what would you consider a fairly cheap price.
I am sure there will be ATI fans out there that will argue...but like I said...it is a relative question.
I am running Live on a GeForce 4 Ti4200 128, and it was a 200.00 card when I bought it.
If you want to go cheaper, then you might want to look at a geForce 3 or a high end GeForce 2, but be aware that if you buy an older card, you will be buying another one in no time.
$200.00 now, may last a few years...a cheaper card will cost you more in the long run, cause you will be buying another one in a year.

Im playing live on 2 systems. One has a GF4 4600 and its running smooth at 1600 x 1200 x 32. The other system has a Radeon 7500 (much cheaper) but it still runs the game smooth at 1024 x 768 x 32. If you dont plan to play the game at really high resolutions, go for the 7500, they are dirt cheap.
If you want to see the framerates get fraps.

ATI 9700 Pro! It is off the HOOK! IF not, you can go for a GEFORCE4 TI 4600. If not both, GEFORDE4 MX 440 is fine. Anything over 32 MB or even 16MB is fine.
