Help Please.

I just bought NBA Live 2004 for the PC a few days ago. This is the first time i ever bought it for PC, but i have 2002, 2003 and 2004 for XBOX.
I am having problems with the graphics its abit hard to explain so just look at the screenshots.
The lines coming from the top left corner are there alot.
And this is what i get when they announce the starters, but once the game starts it goes back to the first picture.
Also the graphics are really bad, do i need to download a patch or something?
Please help.
