Ok, issue I am having with D-League players. There are about a handful of players on my roster that are in the NBA and D-League. (Cole Aldrich, Mustapha Shakur, Craig Brackins to name a few). Ok, well when I copy them to the D-League, I copied all of their portrait and cyberface info. When I go into Ass. Mode, and look at the D-League rosters, their cyberface doesn't match their portrait.

Take Cole for instance. When I look at the D-League Roster, I see Cole's portrait, but when I go to edit player, it doesn't look like Cole.

Can someone let me know what is up.

How do I take stuff from reditorr ii and edit it in a spreadhseet or excel? Someone said to just copy and paste it to excel, but id have to do something involving formating the cells which im not sure how to do.

Also, when I go to paste things back into the reditorr ii it gives me an error saying "access violation in module". I currently own the developer version. Please help, and thanks in advance.

The 360 roster can't toggle the "GenericF" field yet. What that does is tells the game whether to use a "created player" face (using the sliders and other tools for CAPs) or using the png####.iff file.

What you should do is overwrite one of the hidden free agents in the game (near Iverson in the roster) with this Cole fellow and import all the needed CF IDs and ratings to make him him. Then be sure to change the isFA value and the player type, as well as changing the teams tab rotation of the D-League team you want him on to reflect the new ID.

It should be a simple copy paste with no issues. The formatting of cells only pertains to the hex values and you just need to format those particular cells as "text" only so it doesn't automatically change 071576 to 71576
Opinions are my own.

But for some reason it wont let me paste stuff back into reditor. I can copy things and paste them one cell at a time, but anytime I try to paste more than one cell it wont work. How do I fix this or what do i do?

as far as I know, there should be no restrictions on what you can copy and paste in and out of the editor

try copying it into notepad and then paste it back in and see if that works. I do use open office, not excel, so there might be some kind of issue I'm not aware of.

Has anyone else noticed that retired players in the association file (FXG file) totally vanish?? i wanted to bring back a player that i didn't want to retire yet and his player column is cleared out. Does anyone think this problem could be fixed in the future by Vlad?

that's more by design by 2k than something wrong with the REDitor. Associations can last 25 years iirc, so that would be a lot retired players hogging up a finite database that arent being used.

Over on OS a user found out a way to keep players from retiring by trading them away, then back (force trade on I'm guessing) which resets their thoughts on retirement....but after the deed is done, you'll need to replace an existing player with that player's appearance, ratings, name, etc to get them back.

can someone plese help me on this? i edited some of the players' jersey numbers through Reditor but after i've saved it and played the game, i browsed thorugh the free agent pool and saw the generic D-League players and the generic bench players of the legend teams included in it (Johnson, Jones, Miller, etc.). this happens everytime i edit through this software. does anybody here know what's this problem?

try doing that with the official 2k roster and see if it happens again.

Ordered tables a little bit ago. How long is the average wait time for a key?

Maybe something like 2-4 hours ago. Sorry for being so vague initially.

I have been checking my spam folder by the way.

EDIT: Used paypal to order.

it's fine

I truthfully don't know where and how the keys are given to users since I get mine directly from Vlad, so hopefully someone else can give you a better idea.

Playing around with the rosters now that I got my key for reditor and I've come across the "No free cloned player slots." message. Is there a workaround for this? How can I get more cloned player slots?

the cloning thing is highly experimental and can cause crashes, you're better off overwriting the 2K teams, the *********** place holders for CAPs, D-League, and hidden Free Agent players (look for Iverson or Marbury)

Hey, guys!

I'll be back home in less than a week. Just got an access to my relative's PC in the city, nearby to my village (100 km), so decided to drop a mes here as well.
Sorry for blank keys, it was my mistake, while making the automated program, which responded to Request A New Key. Fixed already. You can read here: http://reditor.narod.ru/Away.html
Everything works correctly now (but don't forget to put your WHOLE old key there). The only inconvinience is that i'm unable to answer your messages until i'm back home on August, 22nd.

Good luck and sorry for the inconviniences...

Will handle all the unanswered e-mails, PMs, etc. on Monday.

PS: Have scrolled the forums. Would be nice, if someone could put all the known bugs together and send me the list...

Been editing over the existing teams, and I have a question. I know how to change the logos for existing teams, but how do I change the color of the logo? For example I just put a random logo for the 76ers instead of their actual logo, it is the letter "k", but the colors are hideous. How do I change them?

Also I haven't touched arenas yet, but I assume it is possible to also switch the logo there?
