I have been out of the patching Bizz for a long while I did a NCAA mod years ago for NBA Live Im just relearning alot of this stuff as I go for NBA 2k but I will see what I can do.

After days and week of trying to get a roster file that works in association mode I decided to fix it myself because noone has a straight answer on why it does not work....

Hope this helps some Im no expert but I do know where the problems are I have no idea what they are but this allows us to play a dynasty Im happy with it it hope it helps you guys out.

thanks for posting an update to an earlier roster. is this the 89 team roster? and if so, does this roster have the CF updates for the 89 teams through to version 6 and 6.5 of the 93 team roster?

Its copied over from .89 to a uncorrupted file. I am not real sure how well it mathes up... I made it to be able to start a association and I thought it would allow someone with more skill and or time to play around with get some things in working order.. But if you alter any team beyound 29 it will not work in association.

what do you mean by "copied over from .89 to a uncorrupted file"? was the 89 team roster ever corrupted to begin with? And what about the 93 team roster is corrupted? isn't it just that there's too many teams and players and you can't make changes or something? what corrupt file issues have you experienced?

Copy and paste its a wonderful thing... Each Roster set I have seen even the .89 has issues in a way corrupted because they are not fully useable... things I have learned over the last few days... The roster files or association or whatever players can not be be over 1466 or under 1465 if so it fails In going through 10 years in a association I noticed that the files started to acumulate empty tables and it was baiscly a holding place and keep 1466 entires I found that i can save created draft class then copy and paste the players into the association file in the blank spaces then change there birthdates and FA status to 1 they show up in game and file the spots that are Force retired by me (after 4 years) it works great I simmed into the year 2022 or something like that by loading my premade draft class and my added freeagents (blank spots) "theres alittle bit of work involved" but its great for me. I have also found if you clone to add to make 1466 or delete it gets upset in later years and crashes out I have it pretty stable right now.

I will add my 2022 sim association for those who want to check it out.

I didn't mean to offend anyone with the word Corupt honestly Association works with everything except teams beyound the 29th I think that since so many people worked on rosters some got lazy and something got messed up and noone ever checked it and now theres so much its impossible to trace it down so everyone uses the excuse that its to much for the game its really not.

anthor little tidbit of info which I am sure is common knowledge but maybe not change all players in the file from PlType 4 to 1 and then they are completly editable even with Cyberfaces it even open up a tab to change the nickname with about 50 options not crazy awsome but pretty nifty if you ask me. I am sure its obviouse to most of you guys but I just found it while tinkering....

insted of creating players from scratch this would have made editing a already stable database (2k's) more stable and user friendly for the ncaa ones. hey now that i got up to date with most of this stuff which is very simialr to EA's when I did the 2003 ncaa patch I may be able to help out with nba 2k12''

Hello, I'm from Spain and I've copied the files in the folder where I got the NBA2K11, but I can't watch the NCAA teams, the menu and the teams are of the NBA, I think is a problem of the rosters, where I must copy the Roster files? Thank you.

You have to install the full patch from the first page of ths thread.

On a side note Iv read through a good portion of everything to do with the mod did anyone ever fix the michigan home jersey's the lettering on the back of the jersey is FUBAR lol... not a huge deal but also on acouple teams like the North Carolina Tar Heals they are missing numbers like it has 1-5 but no 6-9 same with double digits like its has 12 but no 17 I thought it was maybe something mis installed but I have done a few time still same issues.
