If you don't, you can blame yourself for the self-jinx.

Stealth Clinch Playoff Seed![]()

March 13, SEATTLE – Kevin Durant scored 25 first half points before sitting out the entire second half and Reshawn Tyson scored a game high 39 points as the Seattle Stealth locked up a playoff berth with a 128-105 win against the Eastern Conference leading Cleveland Cavaliers.
Durant and Cavs’ star Lebron James had to be separated at half court after the game as Durant went up to him to say a few words. “I was telling him that it would be an easy NBA Finals sweep if we were to play him in June,” Durant explained afterwards, “He didn’t like it that I was telling him that I could beat his whole team in one half. I think he’s just jealous that I didn’t need to play the second half.” Durant than thought to himself for a moment in the postgame interview and added, “Well, I reckon he hates playing in the fourth quarter because he’s got no clutch game so he wishes he was more like me being able to beat teams in one half.”
James finished with 27 points, 5 rebounds, 4 assists in the losing effort. Rudy Gay scored 23 points. James commented on his encounter with Durant after the game, “He came up and wanted to try and tell me he was the MVP. I think I hurt his feelings when I told him that he was an overrated and cocky prick. He’s not even the best player on his team – that’s (Andrew) Bogut.”
Veteran PG Jason Kidd declined to comment on Durant and James. He finished with 15 points, 6 rebounds and 9 assists. Sixth man Allen Iverson, who scored 12 from off the bench, laughed when approached about who was the better player out of the two, “Kevin Durant is the best player in the world right now. No question about it. I’m second.”

I'm sorry, but I hate how people call LeBron LeQueer in this story. it doesn't match up imo. LeBron doesn't leave, and he isn't the cockiest player in the league in this story

Lakers Make Stealth Look Mortal![]()

March 17, LOS ANGELES – Kevin Durant was held to 19 points and 5 rebounds in a matchup between the top two Western Conference teams this season. The second placed LA Lakers used stifling defence to hold the best team in the league, Seattle, to 89 points. LA’s defence field their offence as they ran up the score to 108 points.
The comprehensive beating was highlighted by Andrew Bynum’s dominant 26 points and former Stealth reserve Trevor Ariza’s 16 points, 11 rebounds and 6 assists. Kobe Bryant, who scored 18, commented on his side’s win, “It’s great to get this win against the best team in the league. We know that if we meet them in the playoffs, it’s going to be extremely tough. I’m happy that we’re going to know that we’ve beaten them at this stage in the season. We have a good shot at reaching the NBA Finals.” It was a brilliant team effort as Spaniards Pau Gasol and Jose Calderon each added double doubles (11 points, 13 rebounds and 12 points, 12 assists respectively).
Durant wasn’t the biggest victim of the Lakers’ smouldering defensive strategy as Reshawn Tyson was woeful with a 1 for 20 shooting performance. Allen Iverson was the Stealth’s second best scorer with 13 points off the bench while Chinese forward Mingyu Li added 10 points. Andrew Bogut had his second game back from injury and followed up a 4 points, 8 rebound performance against the Hawks with 0 points and 2 rebounds against the Lakers.

Chara Clutch In Close Thriller![]()

March 22, SACRAMENTO – Moses Chara showed that he was back in top form as he finished with 29 points, 10 assists and the game winning bucket in an exciting 126-123 win against the visiting Seattle Stealth. The win put the 40-26 Kings into fourth place in the Western Conference, which means that if the season ended today, the two teams would be on a collision course to meet in the second round of the NBA playoffs.
Chara hit the game winning shot with 2.3 seconds left on the clock. His baseline jumper over Kevin Durant sent Kings fans into a frenzy. With no time outs to call, Allen Iverson settled for a halfway shot that landed nowhere near its target. Michael Redd scored 25 points and Al Jefferson also had 25 points to go along with 18 rebounds. Rashard Lewis chipped in with 18 from off the bench.
Iverson was the high scorer for Seattle with 30 points from off the bench. Durant had 27. Reshawn Tyson finished with 18 points, 8 rebounds while Andrew Bogut’s poor form continued as the Aussie big managed just 6 points. Durant stated the obvious after the game, “We’re favourites to win the title but if we keep dropping these games, we’re not going to win it all.” He later added as he left the stadium, “These guys are the defending champs so they’re supposed to win one against us once in a while. At the end of the day, it just comes down to who can win more games than the other when it counts most. I will try harder in the playoffs.”
