That's good. Am I ahead of Von Wafer in the rotation?

Paradise Garage [S02] ♦ NBA DRAFT 2011 (Round 2) ///

    Image
      Position(s): PG-SG | Height: 6'0'' | Weight: 180 lbs. | Age: 22 | School / Team: Iowa State | Country: United States
Key statistical averages: 9.5 points, 2.3 rebounds, 4.7 assists

With the thirty-first pick in the 2011 NBA Draft, the Los Angeles Clippers select Al Winston. An explosive scorer with a speedy first step. Excellent ball-handler and fiery competitor. Rarely misses from the free throw line. Excels at driving and dishing. Relishes the big moments, never afraid to take the important shots. Extremely confident. Doesn't get much vertical on his jumpshot and lacks skills on defense. Over dribbles sometimes. Turnover prone; must learn how to run an offense more efficiently. Despite good court vision, still not in the mold of a pure point guard.

    Image
      Position(s): C-PF | Height: 7'2'' | Weight: 274 lbs. | Age: 21 | School / Team: Wyoming | Country: United States
Key statistical averages: 11.5 points, 7.6 rebounds, 0.9 assists

With the thirty-second pick in the 2011 NBA Draft, the Cleveland Cavaliers select Francis Wells. Athletic bigman with an intriguing set of skills. Efficient offensive game. Extremely quick release and soft touch. High percentage scorer inside the paint. Finishes with authority when close to the rim, always with a powerful jam. Has shown potential as a shot blocker with his long wingspan. Despite having a weight of over 270 pounds, he is still often out muscled. Has the quickness and footwork to be far more effective -- must improve on that and also on his passing. Tends to pull back on his charity stripe attempts which prevents him from being consistent.

    Image
      Position(s): C | Height: 7'0'' | Weight: 292 lbs. | Age: 23 | School / Team: Georgia | Country: United States
Key statistical averages: 15.4 points, 9.7 rebounds, 1.8 assists

With the thirty-third pick in the 2011 NBA Draft, the Golden State Warriors select Donovan Lewis. An ultra efficient back to the basket player. A competitor, battles at all times to establish post position. Around the basket he is very active and he knows how to move without the ball. Possess the ability to read the action as well as being able to catch pretty much any pass that is thrown to him. Has a frame that can easily put on some extra muscle without losing explosiveness. He is also undisciplined defensively and has been plagued by foul trouble throughout his college years. Depends on teammates to create his scoring opportunities.

    Image
      Position(s): SG-PG | Height: 6'5'' | Weight: 192 lbs. | Age: 23 | School / Team: Colorado | Country: United States
Key statistical averages: 9.2 points, 3.2 rebounds, 3.1 assists

With the thirty-fourth pick in the 2011 NBA Draft, the Toronto Raptors select Dexter Hale. Passing is top notch whether it was full court passes or lobs; he showed the he is a great playmaker. When he gains an advantage in an 1-on-1 situation, he makes good reads that usually end up in a high quality shot attempt. Very good from the outside, where he is more than capable of shooting off the dribble or in spot up situations. Limited athleticism and size, mixed together, make him an undersized combo guard. He does not have the explosiveness to operate as a lead guard on a regular basis; more efficient as a backup role. Has a hard time getting a shoulder by the defender.

    Image
      Position(s): C | Height: 7'4'' | Weight: 261 lbs. | Age: 22 | School / Team: Iowa State | Country: United States
Key statistical averages: 8.6 points, 8.1 rebounds, 1.3 assists

With the thirty-fifth pick in the 2011 NBA Draft, the Charlotte Bobcats select Bryce Pryce. Talented big man with good athleticism and upside. Excellent NBA size, with a big wingspan and good length. Most of his points come off pick and rolls, put-backs and second shots opportunities. Looks to score almost every time he catches the ball on the low post. Very explosive off the floor going for dunks and alley-oops. Aggressive big man with nice body control when attacking the basket. Lacks experience and readiness for this league. Average basketball I.Q. Turnover prone. Poor passer.

    Image
      Position(s): PG-SG | Height: 5'9'' | Weight: 145 lbs. | Age: 20 | School / Team: Georgetown | Country: United States
Key statistical averages: 11.9 points, 3.3 rebounds, 6.2 assists

With the thirty-sixth pick in the 2011 NBA Draft, the Minnesota Timberwolves select Jesrie Calimbas. All 12 NLSC Academy prospects on the board. The new Earl Boykins of the league. Smooth, heady point who was one of the quickest guards in college, Efficient numbers both shooting from all places on the court as well as decision making, running the squad. Uses his lightning speed to blow by defenders. His smaller size and body strength makes it easy for bigger guards to have their way with him. Has added some strength in college, but he doesn't have the body type to hold much muscle mass. Needs to focus on using his smarts at the next level on the defensive end. Concerns persist that bigger and stronger pro point guards will be able to exploit his lack of height and body strength.

    Image
      Position(s): SG-SF | Height: 6'4'' | Weight: 205 lbs. | Age: 22 | School / Team: UCLA | Country: United States
Key statistical averages: 14.3 points, 4.4 rebounds, 2.9 assists

With the thirty-seventh pick in the 2011 NBA Draft, the Detroit Pistons select Marty Sharpe. Versatile and athletic, with great scoring ability. Knows how to use screens and reads defenders well to get open for jumpers. Can create his own shots and score in so many ways because of his speed. If he hits his first few field goals and starts feeling comfortable, he is hard to stop. Moves very well without the ball. Nice body strength for the SG position, but standing at 6'4'', he lacks size and length for the spot. Has to attack the basket more. Commits too many turnovers; gets in trouble by dribbling into the traffic.

    Image
      Position(s): PF-SF | Height: 6'7'' | Weight: 213 lbs. | Age: 20 | School / Team: Panathinaikos (Greece)| Country: Spain
Key statistical averages: 10.2 points, 6.1 rebounds, 2.2 assists

With the thirty-eighth pick in the 2011 NBA Draft, the Philadelphia 76ers select Esteban Olamendi. Has the perfect demeanor for the PF slot; he is a warrior in the Euroleague and nobody questions his toughness. Was the heart and soul of Panathinaikos for the past couple seasons. Has been one of the best rebounders in the league despite being undersized. His hustle and physical style should win over enough general managers in the NBA to earn a roster spot. Offensively he scored the bulk of his points off of offensive rebounds and easy drop offs from his teammates. Very uncomfortable outside of the paint. He did expand his move arsenal throughout his career in Europe, but has a long way to go before he can be effective against defenders in the USA. Poor free throw shooter.

    Image
      Position(s): SF-SG | Height: 6'5'' | Weight: 223 lbs. | Age: 20 | School / Team: Northern Iowa | Country: United States
Key statistical averages: 15.7 points, 4.8 rebounds, 6.1 assists

With the thirty-ninth pick in the 2011 NBA Draft, the San Antonio Spurs select Benjamin Rollins. Good pick by the Spurs, who needed an extra backup swingman. A very explosive leaper, with a smooth release on his jumpshot and with improved accuracy and consistency. His jab and shot fake are his go to moves and are very effective, forcing the defenders to back off. Crafty finisher around the hoop and user of his wingspan to make tough shots. A very team oriented player, he looks to work within the offense to get his scoring opportunities. Surprised scouts with his assisting abilities. At a lanky 6'5'', he is a little undersized for the SF position; he lacks upper body strength to play through contact. His jumper is all over the place, at times he converts on difficult attempts but very often he has head-scratching misses. His back to the basket game is predictable.

    Image
      Position(s): PF-C | Height: 6'10'' | Weight: 223 lbs. | Age: 23 | School / Team: George Washington | Country: United States
Key statistical averages: 7.9 points, 7.2 rebounds, 0.6 assists

With the fortieth pick in the 2011 NBA Draft, the Detroit Pistons select Cecil George. Has the toughness and demeanor that you want in a post player. Great physical potential, with an excellent attitude. Plays with courage and desire. Has the size to play center in the NBA. Very strong rebounding the ball. He can be involved and make plays without having the offense focus on him. Does a solid job managing his fouls. Still unskilled offensively. Must expand his offensive game and complete his body growth. Almost 100% of his points come on garbage baskets. Needs to improve the speed at which he thinks the game and reacts to situations on offense. Turnover prone.

    Image
      Position(s): SG-PG | Height: 6'4'' | Weight: 187 lbs. | Age: 21 | School / Team: Washington State | Country: United States
Key statistical averages: 13.0 points, 2.2 rebounds, 4.2 assists

With the forty-first pick in the 2011 NBA Draft, the Denver Nuggets select Tomas Keefe. Lean, long athlete with fluid movements. Superb shooting stroke with a high release point and good elevation. Solid mid-range game. Comes off screens ready to shoot and gets his feet set and rid of the ball quickly. Vertical leap and hang time are eye-popping. Uses his long wingspan to cause deflections and steal the ball -- over 100 career steals in college. Lack of aggression taking the ball to the basket, perhaps avoiding contact. Needs to add bulk to his frame as he has difficulty finishing through in contact. Will likely have difficulty defending stronger guards in this league.

    Image
      Position(s): PF-SF | Height: 6'8'' | Weight: 230 lbs. | Age: 22 | School / Team: Georgia | Country: United States
Key statistical averages: 11.2 points, 6.0 rebounds, 1.4 assists

With the forty-second pick in the 2011 NBA Draft, the Phoenix Suns select Gerald Taft. He shows his athleticism by finishing strong around and above the rim. His strength is also a key ingredient to his game as he can battle with bigger players. Can convert on plays around the basket, including a nice running hook and spin moves. He is willing to put in the work to develop his game. His shot is effective, but his release is extremely slow and he is not good at shooting on the move or off the dribble. He is not comfortable making counter moves when he gets cut off. Playing against smaller defenders, he is effective, but against bigger and better athletes, he reaches the point of being a liability.

    Image
      Position(s): PG | Height: 6'1'' | Weight: 184 lbs. | Age: 20 | School / Team: Texas | Country: United States
Key statistical averages: 9.8 points, 2.0 rebounds, 3.4 assists

With the forty-third pick in the 2011 NBA Draft, the Portland Trail Blazers select Donnie Chambers. Played the shooting guard position in college, despite his size; however, he was better at setting up teammates as opposed to creating shots for himself. His best offensive weapon is his ability to shoot off the dribble from long or midrange. Can penetrate and get into the paint. Though undersized in regards to height and strength, he shows great intensity and competitiveness. He gets little elevation on his jump shot, and at his height he will have trouble getting open looks. Defensively, his physical limitations don't project to success against stronger, quicker, taller and more athletic guards.

    Image
      Position(s): SG-PG | Height: 6'4'' | Weight: 195 lbs. | Age: 22 | School / Team: Armani Jeans Milano (Italy) | Country: Italy
Key statistical averages: 14.4 points, 2.9 rebounds, 7.2 assists

With the forty-fourth pick in the 2011 NBA Draft, the New Jersey Nets select Andrea Avanti. Combo guard with nice quickness, nifty skill off the dribble and most importantly a terrific passer. Gets into the painted area consistently, and is able to draw help and make the right read. He sees plays ahead of time and can deliver passes with good precision. A streaky scorer, going in and out of rhythm throughout the game. Physically he is not a great prospect, showing a slim frame. He may be too overmatched to be a serious candidate for the league, but definitely shows all signs of being a terrific player from Europe.

    Image
      Position(s): SG | Height: 6'5'' | Weight: 198 lbs. | Age: 19 | School / Team: Texas Tech | Country: United States
Key statistical averages: 13.2 points, 4.2 rebounds, 4.0 assists

With the forty-fifth pick in the 2011 NBA Draft, the New Orleans Hornets select Hal Ross. Powerfully built guard with a polished offensive skillset. An instant offense type of player who is capable of big scoring outbursts. Shows diverse offensive skills, with an excellent outside shot plus the ability to create off the dribble. Understands how to use his strength to create space and finish at the rim. Handles the ball with ease and rarely makes mistakes. His excellent ball skills should allow him to play some point guard in spot duty down the road. Outside shot has been riddled with inconsistency. Not overwhelmingly explosive. His lack of size lends to questions about his ability to create shots against longer and more athletic defenders. But at 19 years old, he still has a lot of time to learn.

    Image
      Position(s): SG-PG | Height: 6'5'' | Weight: 192 lbs. | Age: 20 | School / Team: Florida | Country: United States

Thanks man, it's was a long road. Coming soon!

Not happy with the Lampley selection. Another bigman... I have enough already. 60th pick, he's a lock for being waived in the training camp.

Bryce Price, nice size, may win a ring twice or thrice, fries his own rice, loves spice, pies and Miami Vice, hates mice, never lies or cries, said the wise guys in neckties who analyze that this draft surprise on the rise is a blessing in disguise.

Cant wait that you finally kick off Season II

By the way i am using your sliders version 2. I really like them and they are pretty realistic for 12 minutes Games in my oppinion. The only thing i changed was the CPU scoring values because they only shot around 35%. I also reduced my 3 point value to 50. (Y)

SAN ANTONIO -- Free agent Michael Redd signed a contract with the San Antonio Spurs today, saying he's eager to win a championship with the team from Texas. “For me, it was a no-brainer,” the 32-year-old swingman said. “I wasn't sure of leaving the Bucks at the beginning, to play somewhere else. But this was the best decision for me. I will always be thankful for the fans in Milwaukee and the organization.” Bell signed a three-year deal worth about $12.7 million. The 6'6'' Redd was a favorite with fans in Wisconsin and coach Scott Skiles because of his athleticism and outside shooting.

He had a breakout year with the Bucks in 2003-04, when he averaged 21.7 points per game, to go with 5.0 rebounds and 2.3 assists per contest, all career-highs at the moment. Redd is also a career 38-percent shooter from beyond the arc. But as we all know, his career was then derailed by injuries. Despite that resume, he went to play all 82 games with Milwaukee last season, for the first time since the mentioned 2003-04 season, with averages of 12.2 points and 1.7 rebounds, including a season-high 26-point game last December -- against San Antonio.

Spurs owner Thierry Tirieux noted that Redd made a good business decision when he declined offers from the Cleveland Cavaliers and the Dallas Mavericks in the past, staying with Milwaukee in the process. “Now he's made an even better choice,” said Tirieux. “We're really happy to have somebody as competitive as Michael with us.” The Spurs needed a new guard after free agents Larry Hughes and Chris Quinn declined offers to re-sign with the team. “When we lost a couple of players, we felt we needed some shooting and also more defensive depth,” Tirieux added. “Michael shot almost 40 percent for his career, and also has done a terrific job all throughout his career on defense. We feel we killed two birds with one stone.”

Bryce Price, nice size AND a nice name. I hope he can help the Bobcats. (Y)

Yeah it was a bigman round. And I think the only other C in Charlotte is Diop, so he will start.

Good thing I won't make some sort of Ammo-rapping or caption contest this year.

Francis and Varejao at C. The Cavs were also big players in the FA pool

Thanks a lot V :) This has been a little slow lately, but I'm hoping I can go faster soon.

By the way i am using your sliders version 2. I really like them and they are pretty realistic for 12 minutes Games in my oppinion. The only thing i changed was the CPU scoring values because they only shot around 35%. I also reduced my 3 point value to 50. (Y)

Thanks man! Yeah, I also got other guys saying the CPU shot a little below average. I got my 3PT sliders above 50 because I couldn't make them at all

Nice signing, I hope he can play a useful shooting specialist role off your bench.

Also glad to see Earl sign for 5 more with the Nuggets (y)

A great addition to the bench , maybe he'll be a Jason Terry, & score a ton. Perkins in Minnesota? Where will he fit in the rotation..

T-Mac with JR.... a possible come-back

Wow Cavs had some pretty good free agent signings....Hopefully Redd can contribute instead of just adding to the retirement party that is SA

Nuggets are going to go insane. Two nutcases in JR and Delonte. Lol. They signed T-Mac $8M per year and Gee for $5M? :shake:

I really hope Redd can see some kind of resurgence.

Nice sign with Michael Redd, i hope his shooting power will bring you one step further. I am also looking forward how the Nuggets and Cavs will compete in this one.
