NBA Jam: On Fire Edition Twitter Notes

No need to create a new thread for every single Tweet from the producers but I thought a central thread for small notes might be useful and informative.

Here's one from producer Cody Sawatsky:

Just got news of a legendary secret player joining the cast of #NBAJamOFE! You're gonna love it!

I can't say MJ
I'll go with Reggie Miller or someone from another sport like Manny Pacquiao

I'd love it to be Jordan, but if it was they'd make a bigger fuss over it.

I'll go with Reggie Miller or Barkley.
Opinions are my own.

I don't think Jordan are in the game this time... I think Reggie Miller, Charles Barkley, Kareem Abdul-Jabbar, Penny Hardaway and Vlade Divac are good options

I'd love it to be Jordan too, though I'm guessing his deal with 2K is exclusive which rules him out.

I think Barkley is a decent bet, given his disdain for video games that'd be something of a coup.

I'm guessing Jabbar too since the Lakers just released him and he needs some moneys.

Yeah, with all due respect to Vlade he'd be a bit of a letdown as a super secret surprise legendary hidden player.

On the Facebook page, they asked the fans to name the greatest two guard in history. It'd be awesome if that were some subtle foreshadowing that MJ is in the game but I'm still working under the assumption that he's got an exclusive deal with 2K.

I guess you never want to say never unless his 2K deal is exclusive, but there's a very good chance that post is completely unrelated and just something to fill time with the lockout giving us very little to talk about and actual news about the game being spaced out. Still, it gets you thinking.
