Filipino are usually not that great as Pacquiao.

The media packaged him to look like a patriot. Nothing more. He and his eight-division championships has brought recognition to the Philippines as nothing more but a sports achievement. It was never really good for the economy, but only for his own. Marian Rivera though, is another topic.

The fact that he has his introductions now that he hails from Saranggani province instead of his real hometown of General Santos City proves how much of a douchebag he is. Plus you buy vinegar with his face on it. In every boxing match shown in the local channels, his name is mentioned even if the fighters are of different nationalities AND divisions. Filipino boxers who gain renown internationally are always dubbed "the next Manny Pacquiao" -- ultimately losing their own identity when they're just moving up to the ranks in professional boxing.

How is he good for the Philippines?

I patch jerseys for NBA video games for quite some time now, make logos/graphics for freelance -- sometimes for international clients -- and it does not do any good for the Philippines. Just like Manny Pacquiao is.

Just like the Azkals football team who I believe not even half of their roster can actually speak our language + sing or even memorize the Philippine national anthem. They are packaged by the media as patriots.

I suggest you use solid blue and red colors and not a gradient, since it transitions into from blue into purple, violet, pink, then red.
