Have only played one game lately, Dell Francis had a nice debut scoring 13 off the bench but we lost to Portland by 15 or so. Wasn't good. Basically everyone sucked except for Theo, so here's some of his highlights. Ignore the shakiness I think I've got parkinsons or something lol (jk mostly)

New York Knicks, Year 3(2012-13):

Starters:
PG - Toney Douglas
SG - Bill Walker
SF - Carmelo Anthony
PF - Amar'e Stoudemire
C - Joel Przybilla

Bench:
PG - Ricky Rubio, SG - Andy Rautins, SF - Derrick Brown, PF/SF - Shawne Williams, C - Nenad Krstic, PF/SF/C - Jared Jeffries, C/PF - Ronny Turiaf

Reserves:
SF - Renaldo Balkman, SG/SF - Roger Mason, PG - Nikos Pappas(rookie)

The defending champions start the season with a big change. Bill Walker is the new starter at shooting guard, replacing Landry Fields, who signed with Indiana as a free agent. He joins another ex-Knick, Chauncey Billups.

After spending two years in D-League, Andy Rautins finally gets a chance to show his stuff. He scored 24 points in a pre-season game against Memphis.

Finished season 2. I steam rolled through the playoffs sweeping GS (Yao, Z-Bo, Curry, Ellis), LAL, OKC & ATL (Tyson Chandler, Horford, Josh Smith, J Rich, JJ). Steve Nash won playoffs MVP. I made a bunch of trades during the season which were basically a bunch of draft picks being swapped. I ended up with four 1st round picks which turned out to be the 1st, 2nd, 4th & 15th pick.

A lot of coaching changes went on during the offseason: Charlotte hired SVG, Cleveland hired Paul Westphal, Boston hired Scott Brooks, Atlanta hired Byron Scott, Miami hired Monty Williams, Utah hired Erik Spoelstra, Sacramento hired Phil Jackson, Lakers hired Doc Rivers, Detroit hired Alvin Gentry, Rockets hired Lionell Hollins, Phoenix hired Rick Adelman, OKC hired Kurt Rambis.

Not much went on during Free Agency:
Clippers sign Landry Fields $19.01m/3 years
Hornets sign Ray Allen $2m/1 year
Raptors sign JaVale McGee $21.53m/3 years
Wizards sign Raymond Felton $38.63m/4 years

I expect KG & Nash to retire at the end of the season so I'll be playing one last season with the Wolves. Maybe I'll stay in the West & try to take down my old team? Or maybe I'll switch to my Knicks who haven't done much to build around Melo & Amare besides signing Rodney Stuckey?

What do you call a power forward that averages 7 rebounds?

Durant's a good comparison, wish he was the same size as him though.

Vaughn had a good game (at PF) against the Spurs so I recorded his highlights too

Well, my association is going quite well.
A roster built up with youngsters of 1st Round picks ain't that bad in my point of view.
Enes Kanter - 2011 5th Overall By Washington (Then traded to the Wolves on Draft Night for Darko and 13th Overall which the Wizards offered me) (Virtual) | Kevin love - 2008 5th Overall By Memphis (The traded to Minnesota for the Draft Rights of OJ Mayo and etc. on Draft Night) | Michael Beasley - 2008 2nd Overall By Miami (Traded to Minnesota for cash last 2010) | Wesley Johnson - 2010 4th Overall by Minnesota | Ricky Rubio - 2009 5th Pick By Minnesota
so as you can see my lineup is made of 1st round picks that are selected in the top 5. so far i'm enjoying the thrill of playing a very very young team that has Fernandez and Hamilton who are veterans who are both sixth man candidates who are mentoring those young butts. so far my record for this season (11-12) is 2-2. i've lost my first 2 games but eventually won the last 2 games. So far this is how my Association is going.

NBA 2K11
Difficulty : All Star
Speed : 50
Quarter Length : 12 mins
FG & FT : Real Player %
Injuries : OFF for the 1st season (want to play with/against all players in the line-up for 2010-2011season)
Roster : EGS – Fort Roster 7.0 (edited – No A. Iverson & Y. Ming)
Sliders : The Purist’s Sliders (with minor adjustments - passing and fouls)

Chicago Bulls – I picked Bulls because I’m more of a defense-oriented guy.

PG: D. Rose/ C. Watson/ G. Vasquez
SG: A. Iguodala/ R. Brewer/ R. Butler (res)
SF: L. Deng/ K. Korver
PF: T. Gibson/ J. Hill/ R. Anderson/ B. Scalabrine (res)
C: J. Noah/ O. Asik

I started trading right before my first game. Lost some of my future draft picks in most of the trades (N) ...but it’s really worth trading Boozer for Iguodala, who can slash and drive (gotta love those Iggy contact dunks!) plus a good perimeter defender. I’m also trying to build Gibson/Hill into great defensive PFs.

FACT: Iguodala was only second behind Lebron James for most triple-doubles during the 10-11season.

I’m currently on my 1st season with a 19-8 record.

D. Rose: 23.5 PPG, 7.4 APG, 2.1 SPG
A. Iguodala: 20.6 PPG, 5.0 RPG, 4.0 APG, 1.3 SPG
L. Deng: 17.8 PPG, 5.8 RPG
J. Noah: 8.7 RPG, 2.3 BPG

I’m really having a blast so far! :D

So I made a team full of old guys who aren't exactly where they should be in their NBA careers due to injuries in their prime. I actually enjoy playing with this team quite bit; I blew out the Knicks in my first game.

C: Yao Ming (irl, injuries forced retirement)
PF: Elton Brand (still solid, injuries have set him back a bit)
SF: Grant Hill (the perfect "what could have been?" story, still the best on the team despite being 38)
SG: Vince Carter (his injuries, old age, and Vince Carter-ness have made him suck)
PG: Tracy McGrady (would've been as good as Kobe if healthy. Wasn't healthy. At all.)

Second unit includes younger players (under 30) whose careers were basically wrecked by injury)
C: Greg Oden (picked before Kevin Durant, Durant has played 3 seasons more than him by playing 4- seasons)
SG: Brandon Roy (poor dude, had such a good career ahead of him)
SF: Adam Morrison (seriously I think his knee injury is the reason he's without a team)
C: Eddy Curry (I edited his weight to 450lbs in the game.I hope he isn't actually that heavy)
PG: Shaun Livingston (I still cringe when I watch that video)

Believe it or not, I actually beat New York with this team by 19 points: 92-73. I already want to replace Vince Carter with just about anyone else, I might trade for Michael Redd. Seriously, T-Mac, Grant Hill, and Livingston are carrying this team.
Of my 92 points: Gramt Hill had 22, McGrady had 21 and 9 assists, and Livingston had 16 and 7 assists. Eddy Curry's speed and quickness is so low, that it literally took him at least 15 seconds to cross the court after about three minutes of play.
Yao was decent, 10/6 with 4 blocks, still better than Curry and Oden who combined 0 points, 1 rebound, 0 assists, 1 block (Oden did it) 0 steals, 8 turnovers, and 5 fouls.

Elton Brand was good all around, but he just missed double digit scoring. Vince was shit, he couldn't even defend Bill Walker. Obviously, I used hill on STAT, but the fun part was putting TMac on Carmelo. Sure, Carmelo scored 33, but my new-look Raptors just won!

(by the way, I just released or traded all the current Raptors. Bargnani and Derozan both went to San Antonio.

I'm actually having a good time playing point with Tracy McGrady and Grant Hill at the 3.

My best line up right now (from 1 to 5): T-Mac, Livingston, Hill, Oden, Yao. (Livingston and McGrady are interchangeable)
Yes, I'm playing Oden at the 4 at times. Livingston, McGrady, and Hill are all good passers (Roy and Morrison are decent passers off the bench too). Since my team is probably the slowest team ever (jk) passing is really important if I'm getting anywhere on offense. T-Mac nearly got a triple double in my latest game against the Bucks. (same team, except Livingston was traded for Bayless).
Bayless was a killer, because he's fast, and basically any fast player is going to be a nightmare when your quickest and fastest option on the court is none other than a 30-something year old Vince Carter who has no recollection of what defense is/looks like.

So basically, Bayless and Jackson scored about 25 apiece, but I still won by 10 (it was either 96-86 or 86-76, I can't remember. But I definitiely won by ten. Anyway, T-Mac was really efficient, he didn't score much, but he had 8 points, 8 rebounds, and 13 assists, with only one turnover. I think the 5-6 inch height advantage he has over most other PGs is making up for his lack of speed, same with Livingston. I keep forgetting Livingston doesn't have 3-point range, so I fired off like 5 with him before I remembered that Elton Brand had a higher 3PT rating than Livingston. Lol.
Anyway, Andrew Bogut manhandled Yao Ming everywhere. Yao finished with 0 points, 0 blocks, 6 fouls, and 7 rebounds, while Bogut got a 15/15 with a lot of blocks and steals. It was seriously painful to have a 7'6 guy struggle that badly, but Bogut was all over him.
I was so desperate I called in Eddy Curry. He played no more than ONE MINUTE, and picked up 3 fouls and a turnover. One of the fouls was kind of cool though: Brandon Jennings drove into the lane but Curry was in his way. Jennings was the one who got flattened. :applaud:
Hill was in a shooting slump, so Brandon Roy and Adam Morrison split some of his minutes. Morrison was OK, he made a nice three while Jennings basically stared off into the distance, but Roy was good as a jump shooter. He's slow as hell (he's probably faster irl than in the game), but his shooting saved him. Now I really want to trade for Michael Redd. Redd didn't play for the Bucks, he's like a 10th man or something and should be easy to trade for. Pairing him with Roy would actually give us a pair of sharpshooters on the wings which would further make up for Shaun Livingston's lack of a 3.

The POTG went to TMac for his near triple double, but Roy was better down the stretch. He made a pair of threes inside 2:00 of the 4th that helped seal the deal. He finished with 16 and 5 assists. He got open looks and drained the shots, but he hasn't consistently knocked down those shots. The team is 6-5 right now (4 games played, three of those were wins) and this is Roy's first decent game. TMac is leading the team in both assists (8.2) and steals (1.8) and second in scoring (15 and something) Hill is leading in scoring with just under 18. Vince has like 11 ppg, Brand has 14/8, and Yao has 14/10. The bench is alright, but no one has more than 6ppg from off the bench. (Eddy Curry has 0.6ppg, 2.0rpg)

Should I trade for Redd?

Yeah I'm having a similar problem (I'll get to that later)

My first ever My Player on 2k11: 6'7 point guard, 3 point specialist package. I boosted my midrange with my 10000 free points. In my second draft combine, I score 44 points, 2 assists, and 9 rebounds and my draft stock skyrocketed from undrafted to 11th. I ended up being drafted 22nd (?) by the Thunder. I kicked summer league's ass, then raised the difficulty to all star.

I became the Thunder's sixth man despite a rating of 40. Once the season started, I had a three point rating of 76 and midrange was 95. All went great for the first 10 games, I averaged 16ppg, right behind Durant's 18ppg. Then I exploded for 39 and 6 rebounds. James Harden and I were running fast breaks together really well, and then management made two trades: Sefolosha ad someone for Grant Hill and Josh Childress, and then they traded Harden off, along with someone else for Eric Gordon and Jamario Moon. Gordon was subsequently injured the very next game (god fucking damn it) and we lost five in a row. After a 9-1 start. Ibaka (lol iPhone autocorrected this to "Obama") wants out and apparently, we are closing in on a deal that brings in Mike Conley. :facepalm2:

Does management actually listen to the trade targets that they ask you to suggest? Because I selected Tyson Chandler, Blair, and a few other bigs, and right after that, they pulled the trigger for Hill, Childress, and Gordon. Gordon hasn't played but ten minutes for OKC before breaking his foot, and Childress sucks dick. Grant Hill probably has more turnovers than points, and Jamario Moon airballed a dunk. Harden and Sefolosha used to set me up for a lot of fast breaks. :(

I dunno. I don't really freakin' care about my teammates.-.- I just know, they suck at shooting.

So yeah, Forgot what game it is, but it's versus Heat for the 2nd time. And we still won.xD They really choke.haha.

Oh btw, I changed the difficulty to Pro realizing that there's no way we can win with All-star difficulty.

Management has yet to do something bad in my MP mode (Portland). We've basically turned Joel Przybilla, Andre Miller, Luke Babbitt, Patrick Mills, and Elliott Williams into Tracy McGrady, John Salmons, Anthony Randolph, and Reggie Williams. Squad's so deep, Rudy Fernandez only gets garbage time minutes. We're 53-24, and MP is currently averaging 21 points, 7 assists and 6 rebounds (point guard). At one point, I hated Brandon Roy (and John Salmons) for chucking up the worst shots especially when I called a play for myself, but for some reason, that's stopped. :?
