hi guys.. can someone plz tell me how 2 get a player name in red
so hes not playable but still on active roster.. like bobby jackson for playoffs? thankss

Rearrange the roster so that the player's ROSTERPOS is 11 (ie. the 12th man on the roster - in the database, starting centre is represented by 0 and 12th man by 11). Change his ISPLAYABLE attribute to False. You can also edit the date of the injury and the date of his return.

Remember to make a backup of your saved game in case something goes wrong.

I think what he asks is that 2 make players "real" injury.
Not just the position in the roster...

...which is why I suggested he change Bobby Jackson's ISPLAYABLE attribute to False and modify the various injury related fields in players.dbf.

I don't think the colour changes these days (I know it did back in NBA Live 99-2001). A red cross will be displayed next to an injured player who is not playable though.

hey andrew man.. i did what u said.. theres a cross next to their names.. but theyre still playable.. bobby jackson came into the game..can u help me out? thanks

You'll have to assign an INJURYID, an injury date and a recovery date.

in that case, what numbers should i put? b/c isnt that only for dynasty

I don't know the injury IDs offhand, sorry.
