and some people take their own time learn how to patch and share with the community. There is no place for people who can't give constructive criticism here, so either figure out a better way to voice your complaints, make your own roster "complete" update, or get out.

See you cannot just state the issue you gotta be an asshole about it just so you know you will loose respect from patchers acting the way you do
which means they will never respond to your requests or post, stop being a jack ass to all these patchers you wouldn't have none of this if it wasn't for them

nope not at all, you get an incomplete product what do you do? people have been putting out incomplete work with rosters lately so i cant say anything about it? wrong heights, not compatible with jerseys, over rated rookies, do i need to put 9 bow down smilies? call it a beta then. you guys have completely gotten so sensitive that you take everything personally when its not. but you can go ahead and put before even trying it and seeing that its incomplete, some people like things accurate.

Any particular reason why you can't adjust the rookie ratings and player heights yourself?

I am trying to help you get along in the forum wheather you take the advise its up to you but it can lead to no respect from anyone and can eventually get you in
trouble with admin, oh yea and by the way I use the bowdowns when I think someones work is good smart ass, and when I think something is bad I tell them my opinion in nice detail

I've been working on a 2012 roster for a bout a week now and 9 times out of 10 ended up with severe problems. Everything from ages to contracts to some teams simply crashing the game. I did however finally get it to work though, and started an association yesterday with correct ages, contracts and all.

Not to crash your thread babyface, but the solution to your crashing problem seems to be just luck in my experience. I did this:

Started a new association with the 2012 draft class, controlling all 30 teams
Simmed the season, then just selected and traded picks to match the real 2011 draft
Then took my association file into reditor and took the rookies out, cleared out the generics created (roughly 100 of them i think)
Imported them into my new roster, made them all FA's (value set to 1 on "ISFA", 0 on team id's) - Make sure you copy and paste the contracts in exact order to excel
Put them on their teams, then pasted their contracts over
It took me roughly 5 times to finally get everything to work without crashes but it works perfectly now

If you have any questions, just PM me. But your incorrect ages is from taking the player info from the draft class file, not from a roster file. In fact, that may have been the reason for all my crashing. Follow my steps and you should get it to work fine

would be cool if you can use updated portrait file to put the rookie portraits in. but can't remember who made that update. cause now i have the old pics again in my game... and some of your pics need to be more quality. but i know its hard to find good pics.
you did a good job this far.

Had some gamecrashes too (Ass. LAL vs. HOU). I kicked Yao from the Rockets roster - you have to uninjure him via REDitor (great tool!) to do so - and experienced no crashes so far. I also kicked Greg Oden who is likely not to play a game next season, just in case the crashes have something to do with injured players.

PS: Someone asked why Caron Butler is on FA list. Answer: he is an unrestricted free agent.

EDIT: this isnt compatible with utp's jersey...and height is wrong...lost of updates for version 2 needed.

who has bad height? Rookies have set his height by official numbers.... and other thing... if is player height 6´10´´ it is 208cm and 6´9´´ it is 206cm... this can be problem... because when players was on measurements they had or had not shoes ... and it is 3-5 cm

Good news i have fix problem with Lakers association ( it was problem with Houston ) I will release fix V2 today.... i have also problem with some view player cards in Manage Roster, but problem is in living roster and i can not fix it .... when u will start association u can see every players cards in game...

Good work Babyface. This is the best 2k11 Roster update so far. I hope one of the patchers who are visiting here will make the cf of the rookie of rockets. Donatas Motiejunas looks weird. His color is off. It seems he is dead. Please someone fix him. Maybe MGX could help or the other patchers. Thanks again for sharing!

Codes dont work on the PC version, the only we we got those jerseys was through official roster updates. Although, for us, its just a simple change of a value in the Uniforms tab of REDitor.

INSTRUCTIONS SO THAT THE GAME WILL NOT CRASH AT THE START OF ASSOC.

LOAD THE ROSTER THEN
PLAY A QUICK GAME. QUIT THE GAME YOU PLAYED BUT NOT THE 2K11 ITSELF.
WHEN YOUR BACK AT THE MENU, START ASSOC. GAME?


AND IF SOME OF YOU CRITICIZES THE RATINGS OR INFO OR WHAT. EDIT IT BY YOURSELF.
ITS EASY, DON'T BE LAZY. IT'S JUST SOME SMALL ERRORS THAT DOESN'T MATTER IN GAME.

Babyface thank you for your hard work and just ignore some trolls who can't politely point out to the issue, but just complain and complain...

I would also like to thank Babyface for making this patch. Keep up the good work.
