I played my first game of my new dynasty with the T-Wolves playing 8 minute quarters and superstar mode. KG got 23 blocks. Is that unusual?

Try lowering the blocking sliders to around 20 at the most. You can also use the Hands Up Freestyle defense to challenge the shot rather than blocking it.
